At first I was disheartened by this apparently being the first Kristin video in which Abigail/Ashley didn't exactly mirror my way of looking at things, but the other ENFP at least hit the mark somewhat. Though I would like to have her agree to get tickets to the concert anyway just because it sounds fun / because of her friends' energy.

I managed to remain in that state of deliberate ignorance for years. But I finally broke sometime in the last several months. First, I kept encountering articles about her cultural significance. Then, sometime in February I think, I for some reason decided I had to dive deeper into the subject and for the first time ever deliberately sought out information about her. After engaging in a process of research, observation, analysis and reflection, I arrived at the tentative conclusion that she's first and foremost a brilliant chimera who functions as an ever shifting living mannequin, one who serves at once and at the same time as both an influencer and screen upon whom her primarily young and female fans project their deepest wishes and aspirations in their own quests for recognition and affirmation. Her abilities as a songwriter and musician are not, by themselves, what have brought her to this position. But they are nonetheless real and are sufficient for her to have built them up into a platform upon which she can deploy her deeper gift of being whoever it is that people need her to be. I think I'm kind of with the ENTJ on this.

This rotten celebrity obsession is something that deters me from people and businesses who give it too much attention as if it had any meaning or relatability. I've met some celebrities (some of them repeatedly) and I still treated them as people not like some godlike creatures (and there is a strong tendency for people to do that). Fortunately I met mostly the nice ones but I know that many celebrities are just rubbish as a person so why endorse that? Unless you have met and truly interacted with someone, what can you really say about them? As for TS, I don't know why she has such following with this kind of "music".

No wonder I have a high affinity towards Taylor, since I too am a grown woman who constantly over analyses everything, and am practically stuck in my school days. ♥️😉
I'm an intj and when I was younger I scoffed at the idea of her songs because I couldn't relate to the emotions in her songs well, finding a lot of the songs (not all) lacking depth. Now I still don't fully resonate with her songs, but I have a ton of respect for her as an artist for being vulnerable about her emotions in her music very publicly as well as for making billions off of that. Music is about being authentic to some aspect of our human experience, so long as it is true, it has meaning. :DD (I honestly feel like I'm oversharing a bit but it's just a thought)

I'm not a fan either, my manipulation radar is too high and her levels are far above what it takes to turn me off. But I can also think of music and celebrities that I dislike more. Pop isn't horrid but it's not a lasting joy, there's such little room for authenticity in the genre...
I had to giggle about the "too mainstream for me" -- I related too much.. 😂 I'll even find myself trying to actively dismantle my own passion for something if it becomes too well-known and common. But I'm not TRYING to be a snob! 😂 I just prefer to be in my own little corner of interest, sharing it with a moderate amount of people.

I know one ISFJ and he literally talked about his feeling having colours when he writes music. I was like how? And that's a very cool thing which I can't do at all but I admire this on a very INFJ sky high spirit level. Now I get it's probably an ISFJ thing. This is just wow to me and a mystery - and the mix makes it interesting and attractive. I can just tell you how I feel but not in colour :) Colours are impersonal to me but they can play a role in whatever concept I have.

You only need to change costumes 15 times to get through the 16 personalities. If you count changing out of your normal clothes and back into them after the video, that's 17 costume changes. The only way you'd ever get to change costumes exactly 16 times would be if you were either already wearing the costume of the first type or if you just keep wearing the costume of the last type after you've finished.

Sorry, I got lost in my Si after the ISTJ said something about swift tailoring, cause it instantly gave me an image of last night when I was repairing my oldest pair of glasses with a repair kit at my desk. It made me miss my types part of the video, the ISFJ! So, I had to rewind it and rewatch.
I also recently changed the inner tubes of my old city bicycle and adjusted the brakes and kick stand. But yeah, ISxJs do like to repair stuff sometimes and can get very crafty.

Sometimes I truly feel like it might be ADD... but then I wonder if ADD is actually just people who are ENFP. Not saying ADD doesn't exist, but I've wondered if some of those diagnosed might simply be this personality type. There is something quite askew with her and she is, understandably, hiding so much, although she is hiding more than most. From my perspective, the ENFJ's take on her is accurate.

I'm old enough to remember when she was just that clever teen that Tim McGraw brought on board to open for him....and I still prefer her that way....(I'm INTJ in case that matters).
Honestly, I was a Swiftie before, but I’m not anymore. I would listen to her songs for hours and hours, defend her almost anytime someone came at her, and I watched all of her interviews. But then I started researching more about the Illuminati and Freemasonry, and realised that she is definitely a part of it, despite initially denying the signs. Call me overspeculative, but I really do think her concerts are festooned with dark magic and Satanic rituals. People say it’s a rumour, but they say that because they’ve been manipulated into thinking that, don’t they? So I agree with the intj.
I also agree with the enfj. I knew qyite a lot about her dating life, because she often insinuated them in her songwritimg, but I didn’t care about her dating life so much so that I would become obsessed with her relationship with any other guy. But, honestly, in the back of the mind, I would always wonder why on earth she couldn’t just settle on one guy. I really thought Joe Alwyn was the one, because he (seemingly) treated her well, but then she broke up with him and started dating two other guys! No, at this point, I genuinely think that Blank Space wasn’t a mere perspective she chose to write from, it was the truth. All these guys she’s dating? Probabaly just to stay in the mainstream drama, and stay as the talk of the town. Ties in with her ideology of constantly reinventing yourself to stay relevant in society, doesn't it?
Plus, all those private planes she flies, just to go meet that agressive boyfriend of hers, Travis, admit it or not, it _does_ contribute to climate change.
Personally, I think that she’s more of an enfj than an esfj. She just gives that vibe to me. Ni is very prominent in her songwriting and this Easter Egg thing that she does with her fans. She definitely has Fe and Se too, which is what keeps her up on stage for hours. Plus, her manipulative strategies are very similar to the ones an enfj would use.
But, still, I do think her songwriting is extraordinary. It’s almost like poetry, which is amazing because I write and read poetry a lot myself. Especially the songs in Folklore and Evermore, they are so poetic in such a poignant way. But, ever since Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department, her songwriting’s changed drastically. It’s not as good as it was before.
Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. This is mine, so don’t come at me, Swifties.

Thanks for the insight, Kristin, since, as a guy, I've never listened to her except for ladies, which might make my fellow men say booooo, beyond the pun, but I didn't want to make them go all boo-hoo... until learning about stuff like that ENTP's mentioning of binding souls to bracelets and trading them stuff, in which case, sounds like they were setting themselves up for worse than that (I read the comments here yesterday and I've been aware of there being funny business with her but I didn't pay much attention to her music when she's playing on the radio or outside of what I hear/see in the news which is why I started writing multiple comments but then waited asking a friend what she thought about her music since I knew another friend thought negatively of her, because I don't remember any of it other than I used to reference "it's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me" out of context for a joke which is what I was doing writing about her regarding the Super Bowl, because I thought maybe I shouldn't make a jokey comment if she said it was bad because being that you like her, there might be a lot of great songs my friends weren't aware of, and I wrote jokey immediately as soon as I saw it in earlier in the morning my time, but then realized I could use the opportunity for a running gag saying how I always commented except for this one or an opportunity to talk about current culture like how I didn't see Opphenheimer because I think there was racy scenes that Christopher Nolan used to pander to get people in theaters and to get an Oscar and he was my favorite current film creator, and all time favorite director after Alfred Hitchock, but now you're my favorite current film creator...sincerely, my most anticipated movies are the Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ and the executive producer of the recent Cabrini movie, Eduardo Verastegui said he's working on a Mother Mary movie, and I prefer you to both...I was also looking forward to the James Gunn Superman and Batman movies but that wouldn't be much of a compliment since I don't care much for him and there's a good chance I never see them) Might have been wiser to take a cue from the ISTP, but, "haha no," since I'm not that cool, and prefer to be a "hip to be square" fool.

I just saw an amazing movie, "Wait Until Dark", which I think has an SFJ blind character which would give an appreciation for Si and Fe...also, I think the villain was an ENTP....I'm going to take a cue from you and try to figure out a way to bring it up today because, like you, it's brilliant!

By the way, you asked us for advice in your reaction video. I think that you should consider spending time to let your characters greet, wave goodbye, banter, etc. like in the old videos. You'll effectively give time for your audience to process the characters (which has its upsides). Maybe, you can explore this idea in the next couple of skits. At the moment, some of your characters are way too chaotic to keep track of, in my head. Maybe, that's just me though

I am just troubled about these celeb's private jets leaving their carbon emissions and that's just made me feel a whole lot less hyped about a bunch of singers, actors, etc....though I never dived deep into their lives or personalities ( which seems pretty unINFJ, I know) and just enjoy their music, so if someone asks me what I feel about any celebrity, I can just tell them if their music or movie was good or not....

I think she's likely an ESFJ. But as with all celebrities and especially performers, we have to acknowledge that we don't really know them!

Whether you like or dislike Taylor Swift, you've gotta clap at how she flawlessly transitioned with her audience. It's roughly 2 decades since she came into play. Very few musicians still maintain their relevance.

Not that surprising really. With her level of cash flow, and the deep pockets of her label, she can afford elite marketing strategists/geniuses. People at that level of fame and success aren't DIY indie musicians, they have teams curating and strategizing everything.

I am the other ENFP. I am aware of Taylor Swift. I think it's cool she came out of nowhere from AGT and shot to fame and is still going. I think I like one or two songs of hers, but I'm not around people or listen to music that puts her music into rotation. If her song came on I wouldn't know it. I like how she wears red lipstick all the time and it looks nice. I have no issues with her or her music. Wish her the best. :)
INFP here, my school doesn't have a poetry club, but I am currently in a shakespeare play. Also, I don't go out of my way to listen to her really but I will admit she has a few good songs.

My opinion about her is generally same as INTP 😄 though I'm not American, she's not that big in my country. Otherwise she (or her team) writes really good rock songs, even if I don't like the originals the way she sings it, there's so many good rock covers of them!
She was my childhood too, not by choice. I've been tired of hearing her music since middle school. Nothing against her as a person but I worry about the people willing to pay an arm and a leg for her concerts. Including the parents paying that for their kids that's not a good life lesson.
Isfp would definitely start from the angle of trying to find the most unique part of even the most cliche and mainstream music. We would likely go into songwriting and song structure too.

As an INTP, I listen to various genres of music and different artists because staying loyal to one would bore me to death. Yes, that includes Taylor Swift. I listen and know most of her songs just like I am to some other artists I like. But I cannot really say I'm a full-fledge, kissing-her-trail kind of consumer/Swiftie (?). I can say I don't like any song from her new album lol.
