Exactly. And considering where she comes from, she has every reason to distrust humans. Imagine being in that situation: powerless and unaware of what those in control of your body are doing. It breaks my heart to see animals being so vulnerable and scared.

After the mink wrangling it was time for the 'aww, look at all the fluffy adorable foxy cubs' part :) The cubs are all looking quite healthy, so glad that the eye & ear issues appear to be just temporary and both of them will living happy, healthy lives from now on.

Those fox cubs are adorable. I rescued a Bengal Kit fox once, in Bengal, India. They are the sweetest animals! Stinky Minky is so fierce. Reminds me of the mongooses I had rescued back in India too. Same fierceness, independence, wild scent, and noises. And they are fast! Such a beautiful animal. I love minks. They get rid of rodents in your yard fast. Thank you for the rescues. What great work.

Minks are such cute creatures, those faces are just beautiful! But Marble really won the beauty contest when it comes to colouration. Even if that pink nosed baby is damn adorable.
i see they made sure to cuddle the fox pups as much as they could, i mean, who wouldnt! they are so adorable and well behaved! the mink is also adorable, but she declared war against the enemy hands abducting her, so cuddles were pretty much off the table unless they had a full body teeth and claw proof suit available!
I have to commend the vet clinic. They did a great job with the screaming noodle of doom! Vet: "She's clearly very healthy" Margot Screeching: "F YOU! and YOU! and ALL OF THIS!!"
I wish I'd become a vet early in life. These poor little guys are often terrified and just need love and compassion. Plus I'd have put a lot of time into helping lower income folks, their pets are a part of the family just like everyone else.
That is one very unpleased mink. Going to the vet is never fun, unless your name is Skorpan and you are an orange cat from Sweden. He's mine and he usually charms the heck out of all the vets. But my other cats have absolutely hated it and been thinking we are all So Mean!
He is a real sweetheart and Breed Orange is truly the best! But to be honest I go by ACAB (All Cats Are Beautiful). ;) PS: Skorpan means "Little biscuit" in Swedish, incase some one think it is a funny name. :)

@Bloodsplash I had a ferret and it was the best pet I ever had. Watching the minks, I can barely tell the difference. If you're serious about wanting one as a dream pet, I don't think you'd go wrong settling for a ferret.
@@Bloodsplash they’re also incredibly aggressive, as you saw, and pretty vicious predators. They really shouldn’t be pets. Rescues are one thing, but mink shouldn’t just be bought and sold.

I decided to watch this before bed, my partner is already asleep in the other room and I am trying NOT to laugh at how DRAMATIC that mink was being, you would have thought someone was trying to kill her lol!
Glad to see you got what looks like a complete tear off and replace on the roof with all the bad decking replaced. I hope you got a long lived roof with a good underlayment and ridge caps that will allow ventilation. And enough ventilation along with ice dam prevention. With your winters you need them. The little mink seems slightly ashamed of her overacting at the vet's.
Poor baby! I've had ferrets, but started learning about mink on Joseph Carter's (the mink man) channel. I've never seen anything in the mustelid so terrified before. They really are very much a one person/family critter, and definitely take a lot of work and devotion. I love mink, and love the beautiful coats, and blunt round faces, but I will stick with ferrets.
I will never understand why humans with viable options in this day and age, which still up to wear the pelt of such beautiful animals that deserve to live. Thank you for helping.
