When John was personally was into rock and soul music . EMI and he’s management kept John so busy to develop he’s own style and no time to write his own song . It took to 1980 with a change of management with John’s friend Glenn Wheatley who was also managing Little River Band at that time , for John to taken seriously as an artist . This song is written by Graham Goble of the Little River Band which John originally released before he joined LRB

He first came out with it while John Lennon was still around and apparently Lennon loved it so much he said he wished they had come up with that arrangement for the song, Farnham's performance was so much better. SO, with those words of appreciation from The Beatles and Lennon himself, h Farnsy did eventually (years later) do a live version which was the original, leading into his own version of the song...cos you can barely even tell its the same song...its just beautiful! So please take time to find the Beatles version of "Help" because it is such a faster, very different sounding song and the Farnsy version was made into a real slow, but beautiful ballad. So remind yourself first, maybe even check out the regular Farnsy live version, before coming back to hear this bit of a Mashup with both versions. You won't be disappointed! I’ve been thinking about your little problem with DVD regions. I’m pretty certain you’ll be able to play an Australian DVD in a DVD player on a computer. Then you could cast it to your tv or whatever, but the point is that computer DVD players are generally multi-region and can deal with both NTSC and PAL. I’ve bought a couple of DVDs from America over the years that I can’t play in my DVD player but they work perfectly in my laptop. It’s probably the cheapest option for a multi region player as you’ll either already have one, or you should be able to pick up an external DVD drive for about $20.
Just wondering…..are you spreading the word about our Farnesy? Do you show these clips to your friends and try to show them what talent they’ve been missing?
