we reached a quarter of a million subscribers, 250,000 subscribers and still growing the fact that we reached this number in such a short amount of time is just phenomenal i-i'm just amazed, thank you all so much for supporting this channel and helping it grow I-I love you guys, you guys are just awesome. so as you can probably tell this isn't really a montage parody, this is really more like a kind thank you / update video so in this video i'm quickly gonna go over two things: firstly advertisements, and more importantly : the future of this channel and what kind of direction its headed. okay so firstly, the advertisements. believe it or not but montage parodies are actually a copy right minefield new content is getting claimed every day. we could use something from.. lets say.. 5 years ago, and tomorrow a huge company could come along and claim that video as there's and we have no control over that. and any video we use that product in could either get copyright striked or lose monetization, meaning that all the money made from that video would get sent to the company, and not us. the only real way to counter this is to get advertisements placed on my channel, i mean its a win-win for everyone involved you know i get a safety net generated for myself and the company gets exposure and you guys, my sub subscribers, sit through a two second ad that will be as short and painless as possible, so next i'm gonna talk about the future of this channel, this doesn't mean in anyway that i'm actually quitting montage parodies, its basically why you subscribed to my channel and i enjoy making them and there's no reason to quit because i'm in full time education i have less time to make and upload videos it use to be weekly uploads and now its pretty much once a month but in my opinion uploading once a month isn't enough id like to upload more than that, i mean, as much as possible but montage parodies take a long time to make, collecting the resources, coming up with an original idea ya know, all this stuff takes time and planning and that combined with me being in education means that they take a while to make, a good video that goes into detail about this is rubber Ross's video "future of independent animation on TH-cam" it is a different theme'd video because I don't do independent animation, but you can still kind of relate because uploads become more infrequent; channel traffic slows down this is why i want to make videos that are related to montage parodies, but aren't exactly meta montage parodies, like I said before: i'm not quitting montage parodies, its basically seen as either you wait for me to upload one video a month or i upload one video a month with a bunch of you know, funny game-play stuff in between. A great example of this would be counter strike global offensive but at the end of the day, its all down to you guys, you guys are my subscribers and id love to hear your feed back on what you'd like me to do next, leave a comment below: your thoughts and ideas. I'm gonna try to respond to as many comments as I can to this video. I would love to hear your feedback on what kind of videos you'd want to see, any future ideas for the channel. "Johnny Johnny," said the man to the grave marker. It, if course, offered no response. Cold and quiet, the grave marker memorialized the day that Johnny's innocent, happy disposition ceased to brighten the halls of the man's home.
The man clenched his fists, trying in vain to stifle the tidal wave of grief that threatened to erupt. "Telling lies?" he whispered through tears.
The grave marker said nothing. "Jonathan Smith, 1999-2005" was the only reply it could offer, and only if one chose to read it.
The man had no idea that he could become so angry, and he had no idea that little boys could be so... so frail. He didn't comprehend that he was hurting his son till after his hands released their grip around Johnny's throat, till he heard his wife screaming...
"All over a bag of sugar?" the arresting officer had asked. He was a young man with a crew cut, no older than the man's nephew, maybe even a rookie cop, trying to make sense of the tragedy. The man had offered no reply. He could only watch in stunned silence as the paramedics loaded his son's lifeless body into the ambulance.
But now the man realized it wasn't just about sugar. No, it was about him. He should have seen the warning signs. He had stopped going to AA, ignoring the phone calls from his sponsor. He had started drinking again, because of course he had, he always came back to the bottle. No matter how much the liquor destroyed his life, no matter how hard he fought for sobriety, he could still hear its silent siren's call, and he could resist it, for a time. Only for a time.
So the bottle had found him again, just like it had found him on the day he snuck into his pappys liquor cabinet when he was twelve. And as the man lost himself in the devil's drink, he could only watch helplessly as the relationships he worked so hard to build in sobriety crumbled. The light slowly but surely went out of his life, and, true to form, the Bad Thoughts returned.
It was during one such spell of drinking and Bad Thoughts that the man found Johnny, his son, his only son, sneaking away from the pantry with a mouth full of sugar.
The grave marker stood as a silent witness to these quiet revelations.
The man thought back to the final words he had spoken to his son. "Open your mouth," he whispered to the grave marker. He checked his watch--it had been three hours since he took two bottles of Tylenol. He was past the point of no return. Even if he were rushed to the hospital this very moment, there was nothing the doctors could do. It would be a painful death, and slow. But perhaps this was the best way to atone for his crime.
No longer fighting back tears, the man now struggled to hold back a fit of maniacal laughter. "Ha, ha, haaaa," he whispered. He lay down before the grave marker. He was beginning to feel nauseous and achy. The Tylenol was making short work of his already fragile liver. Soon he would spike a fever and begin bleeding. It would not be long now.

so as you can probably tell this isnt really a montage parody, this is really more like a kind thank you / update video
so in this video im quickly gonna go over two things: firstly advertisements, and more importantly : the future of this channel
and what kind of direction its headed.
okay so firstly, the advertisements. believe it or not but montage parodies are actually a copy right minefield
new content is getting claimed every day. we could use something from.. lets say.. 5 years ago, and tommorow a huge company could come along
and claim that video as theres and we have no control over that. and any video we use that product in could either get
copy right stiked or lose monetizeation, meaning that all the money made from that video would get sent to the company, and not
us. the only real way to counter this is to get advertisements placed on my channel, i mean its a win-win for everyone involved
you know i get a safety net generated for myself and the company gets exposure and you guys, my sub subcribers, sit through a two
second ad that will be as short and painless as possible, so next im gonna talk about the future of this channel, this doesnt mean in anyway that im actually quitting montage parodies, its basically why you subscribed to my channel and i enjoy making them and
theres no reason to quit because im in full time education i have less time to make and upload videos it use to be weekly uploads
and now its pretty much once a month but in my opinion uploading once a month isnt enough id like to upload more than that, i mean, as much as possible
but montage parodies take a long time to make, collecting the resources, coming up with an original idea ya know, all this stuff takes
time and planning and that combined with me being in education means that they take a while to make, a good video that goes into
detail about this is rubber rosses video "future of independant animation on youtube" it is a different theme'd video because I
dont do independant animation, but you can still kind of relate because uploads become more infrequent; channel traffic slows down
this is why i want to make videos that are related to montage parodies, but arent exactly meta montage parodies, like I said before:
im not quitting montage parodies, its basically seen as either you wait for me to upload one video a month or i upload one video a month with a bunch of you know, funny gameplay stuff in between. A great example of this would be counter strike global offensive
but at the end of the day, its all down to you guys, you guys are my subscribers and id love to hear your feed back on what youd like me to do next,
leave a comment below: your thoughts and ideas. Im gonna try to respond to as many comments as I can to this video. I would love to
hear your feedback on what kind of videos youd want to see, any future ideas for the channel. I feel that because your subscribed

I mean I started doing videos like these just over a year ago and i would have never expected my channel to grow so quickly in such a short amount of time
just from montage parodies its amazing, you know ive been reading the comments and some of them have just been genuinly amazing
ive been told people have depression and they find these videos you know therapeutic and have enjoyed them, and lifted their spirits
and stuff and its just amazing how my videos can do that to people and that really motivates me to do more of these videos, and just thank you all so much
for giving me this opportunity, it really-it really means a lot guys you have no idea, and lastly i want to give a shout out
