That's one of the best I've heard 🔥 Though in this video when it came after the Caco it sounded like u were doing a warmup for the arpeggio, it was so stiff 🙉 Then I listened to the OG song. Dang, the song is nothing to write home about, it's Testament doing a b-rate Slayer pastiche, the ultra melodic solo goes rather waste in that 😬 Some boys to consider for the list: Timo Tolkki, Luca Turilli, Olaf Lenk.
How about best 10 Neoclassical COB Solos? I'd like to throw in some Black Widow, although this one is more about the interludes. Oh man, ever since Alexi passed away I just recognized how much COB really means to me.
I think this should be called neobarroque instead of neoclassical. These solos are giving me Bach vibes. Anyway, they sound amazing! Beautifully performed! 😍🤘✨
I like the tone very much. Also, neoclassical has gotta be the best music out there, it has the energy of metal music with the sophistication and tasteful complexity of classical.
The solo in Synergy's song "The Warrior Princess" by Alexi Laiho is one of the best not only neoclassical, but just metal solo that i've ever heard in my entire life! Sadly it's not in this list

Finally, Galneryus is getting the credit it deserves. I highly recommend the 4th solo in "The Force of Courage". It's right before the chunky bass section.
