Great video, thanks for always keeping us up on all the amazing tech! 🙏🏾 After my Sony WF-XM1004s died I tried the Devialet 2, the MW09 and the Denon Pearl Pro, and purely based on sound quality (bass, volume, clarity etc) the Devialet Gemini 2 was the best, by far. MW09 sounded trash to me in comparison, even tho I wanted to like them cause they have that supreme battery life
The Sony 1000 xm5 are the top for noise cancelation comparing them to the Bose Quiet carry ultra. The bose hurts your ear when you close a car door or a very loud noise. They don't filter the noise. Sony cancels top notch . I Even changed the foam tips of sonys and installed regular silicone tips.

Thanks for the video. I would like to buy some good earbuds, but I'm prone to ear infections very easily. So I'm wondering would you recommend a specific model for people who have sensitive ears? Thanks.
I love my sennheiser momentum true wireless 4 . The noise cancellation is crazy , used them today while driving my v8 and I could not hear anything else , felt like I was driving an electric car 🤣
MTW3 sound is AMAZING, is just a matter of using the Comply Foam Tips and the sound changes COMPLETELY. The bass is way punchier, the mids get clearer and the soundstage seems to be more detailed. So I guess MTW4 should be beyond incredible
Flossy. My mtw 3's have been perfect for over a year with no issues. My favorite. I really want the 4's though. You should send me one of your mtw 4's. Lol you and jefe are 2 of my favorites too watch for earbuds reviews. I appreciate what you do! ❤💯
My 4th pair of mtw 3 just went out again. I love how they sound, but I have had nothing but issues with their durability, I use them for everyday use and the gym and none of the pair have lasted more than 6 months
@cesarcastrojr4903 I've had my mtw3's for over a year and still no problems. Sorry you're having bad luck. I also got the mtw4's now and love them. I heard the new accentum true wireless earbuds are great as well. Sennheiser in my opinion has the best audio quality.
@EltonSherwood-bv1uu Yea, sennheiser is one of my favorite audio companies. I have a couple of their headphones. I never had any issues with them. They still work great, but mtw 3 was the complete opposite. After looking at other buds that I was interested in. I just ended up picking up mtw 4 hopefully they work out a lot better
@cesarcastrojr4903 yeah I think they will work great. I haven't had any connection issues or battery issues. I really want the new accentum true wireless earbuds. Heard those are great as well. I'm sure @flossycarter will review them
Great list........but i will never buy Sennheisers ever again. I had the MTW3 and mine lasted just under 2 years.....the MTW3 QC got me, i had a dead Right Bud that refused to charge no matter what i did, including cleaning the contacts with isopropyl alcohol , and the left was showing 10% no matter how long i charged. Tried to factory reset as a last resort, and because the right bud was completely dead, it couldnt connect to the left bud after reset. $250 for under 2 years use, and now the $330 for the next gen.......hard pass... i will have live vicariously through you for the MTW4s
4:45 You are absolutely right about one's preference being subjective; I still rock the outdated JBL TUNE 125TWS as my daily beat em up earbuds the toughness and bass level is impressive. 3 years old and still going strong.
Are 1more evo's still good?? I have them and have been thinking about tws4 but when I look for hardware comparisons they look the same only a little more bass on the sennheisers maybe?
Tried the Bose, Devialet G2, Denon Perl Pro, and B&OEX and the worst of them is the B&O! Love more the Denon than the Devialet for just a tiny bit... But i never teied the Sennheiser MTW 4... Looking forward to try them...
Sennheiser were the first earbuds I got and realized I’ve been listening to shitty quality music. The moment where you hear songs and be like “was there always a drum there??”
Hey, I have Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros and LOVE them. I've had them for 2 years and they are getting a little worn so I'm looking for my next pair in that price range or a bit higher. The dual driver along with the HearID customization feature was a game changer for me. I have hearing loss in one ear and the HearID feature provides me with the best balance and sound that I've ever had in an earbud. I'm wondering what you suggest that can give me the crisp highs and thumpy defined lows that the Liberty 3 Pros have but also has a HearID type app? Preferably dual driver.
I have a dilemma now I have the B&O EX which I recently purchased and I have to say the sound is amazing but it does lack on some of the connectivity which I have experienced when you first start listening to them the left and right goes crazy until it sinks up sometimes. But I also purchase the momentum fours to try them out. I always thought the Sennheiser momentums sounds best until I tried the B&o's. I'm trying to figure out which one to keep. Is there a way to get the momentums to sound as good as the b&oex?
I know these are a bit older but I'm looking at the Sony WHXB910n headphones & the JBL Vibe Beam True earbuds (can't wear headphones at work, earbuds only). Have you tried those buds out? Thanks in advance!
I’m planning to get the Sennheiser momentum 4 earbuds Is the Sennheiser momentum 4 the best earbuds for iPhone 13 pro max or is the momentum 3 better for my phone?
Regarding Sennheiser, I loved my TW3's until they stopped working (after 1 year), my right bud started to sound strange and I got my money back for them... A friend of mine had the same issue so a big minus for Sennheiser... But they sounded incredible...
i have got the last two generations of sennheisers and i always had software issue with the weird echo noise, which sucks because i like the quality of the sounds, i hope the 4s don't have this issue or that they fix it one day
My Sennheiser Momentum 2's were barely used, and after a couple years, the left bud stopped working. Definitely getting a warranty if I snag the 4's. Looking to get the Jabra 10's first, tho. Still rocking the 75t Active, and they've worked like a charm.
Same here, my momentum3 left buds die after 6 months hardly used too, got refunded, same with my cx plus left buds die too and got replaced. Love the sennheiser sound and customer service but it ain't that reliable in my experience, don't know maybe I'm having a bad lucks. Now I'm looking into sony xm5 or maybe technics but the technics look bit chunky. Or maybe going down to 1more evo I heard good things about them.
@rasitto I would say try the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3.. they’re a little over $200 but worth it.. for under $200, the Nothing Earbuds, also OnePlus Buds
Surprised no Sony XM5 on top over the ear list. I have those and the Focal Bathys and I end up listening to the Sony's more just because of sound quality is close and they are lighter with better noise canceling. I don't like the cheap build quality though.
The only thing I can say about the brightness cuz I’m one of the people who keep the brightness down low is that it auto adjust on its own even when auto adjust isn’t turned on this was pre and pre-and post update. I’ll watch any videos you put out about the S 24 ultra but I returned it for an S 23 ultra because I couldn’t deal with the camera issues.
I've tried a few different sets, the sound on the Sonys is incredible but the fit made my ears sore. I still think the Airpods Pro are the best I've ever owned, I can wear them all day and not even notice.
I wanted to say that you can get a pair of cooling gel earpads for the skullcandy headphones for working out. I got them for my evos. They dry quickly and don't sacrifice sound.
The grainy issue with the display is only visible in minimun brightness if you have grey on the background, it's obvious that's how they got the screen to be anti-reflective, I noticed it the first day but it's nothing distracting, so I forgot about that
Thank you so much for your great reviews. I just purchased the B&O EX buds. Sound is terrific but it seems the app has fewer controls than in your initial review. I don’t see the various levels of transparency and noise cancellation. Do you know if the app has changed? Thanks again.
I got the momentum 3 TW and I sweat heavily when working out. This causes the mesh inside the earbuds to become blocked which muffles the sound and tend to cause a loud chirping noise especially with transparent mode on. The glue on the mesh also gets ruined which makes the mesh loose. Not sure if they fixed that issue on the 4.
Just seen your B&W video on the Pi8's. Purely for sound quality:Are they better than the Devialet Gemini ii's? I bought the Gemini ii's last week. Are the Pi8's better for EDM?
I struggle with earbud getting loose or falling out, got the Bose qc utras as they were meant to be good for staying in, nope they fall out to, any suggestions boss
I bought the Momentum 3 when they 1st came out. The sound was nice and full, as well as having a perfect ergomic fit. My issue was that I had to replace them 3 times. After a few months of using them at home in bed, they would not charge correctly. In addition, the buds themselves started to malfunction and no longer connect to the case. I caught a vlog from someone that's had the same issue and further found that there were many that experienced the same issue. For wired or Bluetooth headsets, Senn slays it, but for Bluetooth earbuds, Sennheiser is a terrible everyday goto. Hopefully they fixed those issues with the Momentum 4s, but I'm not wasting another 300 bucks to find out. My Technics AZ60's have been my goto.
Yo floss, how is hifiman svanar (r2r, le & jr). Also is denon pearl pro good now? , i saw your nura true pro and as its been about a year, so is lossless audio more mainstream? Also wasted between 3anc couldn't make the list, probably in the top 10 budget list? Also for what its worth, huawei watch buds got my best pick personally cause the best buds is one which you have with you all the time 😆
Thanks so much buddy for your awesome videos as always, I'm a bass head so yeah lol, just purchased my Sennheiser Momentum 4 and waiting for delivery. Can't wait to use those bad boys.😮
thanks for the great review. Could you let me know which of these earbuds have the loudest volume please ? (has to work with Android) thanks in advance !
This list is pretty solid. I gotta pay you some respect because I was ragging on the MTW4s when you moved them to the top and many reviewers were dogging them, but I bought them anyway. First off the fit is the best between EX2s, AZ80s and Airpods P2s. And the sound, they really do sound amazing, very close and maybe better in some cases sound wise then the EX2, it's just hard to beat their outright sound(EX2). Like you I made them number 1, because the EX2 have almost zero ANC and ambient pass through is better on the MT4s. I don't have the #3s so I don't care about improvements and all that bs....there is hiss with ANC and ambient pass through but there are way more features and adjustment with the MTW4s and that hiss is when there is dead silence and no music playing. I really never just sit there w earbuds and nothing playing, who does that anyway. The AZ80s are number 3 of the ones I got but all three of these are stellar in sound, w the EX2 just sounding a little better and louder but other features are just not there. Awesome update and explanation of the MTW4s.
Hey Floss, I know you talked about the audio codecs in the video. If you only had one phone, let's go with the galaxy S24 Ultra 5Gansta Alpha Omega Supreme aka Galactis 3.0, does it change your ranking at all?
My 24 ultra is fine. I use extra brightness and it allows me to keep the slider down. Works for me. I bought the Tozo and like them. I just can't use anything that goes in my ear. Never works out.
@FlossyCarter It's not even really a preference. It's just a matter of I can't tolerate the ones that go in my ear. They're uncomfortable. They fall out. I've tried a lot of them, Good quality ones too. But they just don't work for me. I just basically needed some kind of ear sound device that would help me like when i'm walking. Sometimes when i'm out, I just play whatever i'm listening to through my JBL speaker. I used to use my one plus bullets. I was trying to get something that didn't have the wire. I also didn't really want to spend $300 as I just got the S24 ultra and the tab. S nine ultra. But I watch all your reviews because I just enjoyed them.
I've been using the SteelSeries 7P and then 7P+ for gaming (PS5 or PC) for around 3 years now, and to me it is the best gaming headphones for sound quality, comfort and battery duration. The reason why I switched to the "Plus" version even though they are almost exactly the same is that the older ones use MicroUSB to charge, and the newer pair "the Plus" use USB Type-C to charge.
I tired the beats Fit Pro a few times but the ANC can't even drown out the gym music. The Bose QC Ultra buds seem to have the best fit for me at the gym.
Which buds are you using when you are rocking the S24 Ultra? I have the same phone and on the fence about new buds, I have Wf1000XM5 and Bose QC2, I was tempted to buy the Momentum 4 to try but I worry about the lack of Aptx. Stick with Sony?
Pretty great, oval style tips and fins work wonderful for my ears. These buds are pretty fantastic all arounders, very good in workouts, for strictly running they're fine.
What’s good for like a truck driver everyday might get dirt in them trying get some for my dad and his phone not the top of the line phone but it is a Samsung phone but not like a ultra or anything trying to find some?

Brittney Spears ? Myley Cirus ?! In the gym? Imagine Having 600 pounds on a squat bar and Brittney Spears song is playing … you immediately Die under the bar 😂
The power that britney and myley have is astronomical btw
Floss I’m shocked you were able to move on from the Bass on the Beo. They’re just a different stratosphere.. I didn’t know what bass was until I got my EQ with the spinfit tips for better/better fit
Better fit/sound*
Thanks for the video. I would like to buy some good earbuds, but I'm prone to ear infections very easily. So I'm wondering would you recommend a specific model for people who have sensitive ears? Thanks.
Should look at the open ear models that have been coming out… Bose has some excellent new ones that don’t go into your ear
I love my sennheiser momentum true wireless 4 . The noise cancellation is crazy , used them today while driving my v8 and I could not hear anything else , felt like I was driving an electric car 🤣
Got DAMN, Floss. I am going to get some new earbuds today, and you drop this!?!? Let's go!
Went with the QC ultras.
Perfect timing
Great info, and an adorable cat bonus!! 🥰😸
Thank you! 😊
4:45 You are absolutely right about one's preference being subjective; I still rock the outdated JBL TUNE 125TWS as my daily beat em up earbuds the toughness and bass level is impressive. 3 years old and still going strong.
hi Flossy, what is the best truly wireless for extreme bass in your experience?
Are 1more evo's still good?? I have them and have been thinking about tws4 but when I look for hardware comparisons they look the same only a little more bass on the sennheisers maybe?
He told me to get a real phone 😂
Tried the Bose, Devialet G2, Denon Perl Pro, and B&OEX and the worst of them is the B&O! Love more the Denon than the Devialet for just a tiny bit... But i never teied the Sennheiser MTW 4... Looking forward to try them...
hey man keep me updated bcz I'm thinking of either buying Denon ort MTW4
Morning King Floss and the unboxing court! This is an awesome arse list !!
Im all about the Sony wf-1000xm5 for the noise canceling for my work. Also, I love how they block the wind during noise canceling
Sennheiser were the first earbuds I got and realized I’ve been listening to shitty quality music. The moment where you hear songs and be like “was there always a drum there??”
Love the top 10 list. Very interesting. What about the Denon Perl Pro?
for me Status Between 3anc #1 never had to use Active Noise Cancelling so loud and awesome bass, great video you always do great work thanks
Yeah they sound amazing!
have you tried the steelseries earbuds and if you have how would you compare them to these? better or worse?
Flossy carter is the best TH-camr
Is the sennheiser or the bang & olufsen worth it for iPhone user? I ask because you mentioned it shines better when you have ldac
How do you feel about the Status ANC3 nowadays? I copped those after your review.
I know these are a bit older but I'm looking at the Sony WHXB910n headphones & the JBL Vibe Beam True earbuds (can't wear headphones at work, earbuds only). Have you tried those buds out? Thanks in advance!
I’m planning to get the Sennheiser momentum 4 earbuds
Is the Sennheiser momentum 4 the best earbuds for iPhone 13 pro max or is the momentum 3 better for my phone?
They are both the same in regards to compatibility.
Regarding Sennheiser, I loved my TW3's until they stopped working (after 1 year), my right bud started to sound strange and I got my money back for them... A friend of mine had the same issue so a big minus for Sennheiser... But they sounded incredible...
What is the Sony product used w the H95’s? 16:12
M5
i have got the last two generations of sennheisers and i always had software issue with the weird echo noise, which sucks because i like the quality of the sounds, i hope the 4s don't have this issue or that they fix it one day
My Sennheiser Momentum 2's were barely used, and after a couple years, the left bud stopped working. Definitely getting a warranty if I snag the 4's. Looking to get the Jabra 10's first, tho. Still rocking the 75t Active, and they've worked like a charm.
Same thing happened to me, but within the first year. Exchanged them with their warranty, happened again.
@rasitto what phone do you have?
@@FlossyCarter First of all thanks for the reply, I use Samsung galaxy s22 plus. Any recommendations for earbuds under $200?.
I’ve had mine for 2 years and have had ZERO issues with Sennheiser Momentum 2.
The only thing I can say about the brightness cuz I’m one of the people who keep the brightness down low is that it auto adjust on its own even when auto adjust isn’t turned on this was pre and pre-and post update. I’ll watch any videos you put out about the S 24 ultra but I returned it for an S 23 ultra because I couldn’t deal with the camera issues.
whenever i need new earbuds/headphone... i only go to one person on YT for reviews... that is FlossyCarter! keep up the great work brother.
Floss what's your opinion on using Apple Music Lossless, or Tidal, or even just purchasing lossless FLAC or WAV files?
I've tried a few different sets, the sound on the Sonys is incredible but the fit made my ears sore. I still think the Airpods Pro are the best I've ever owned, I can wear them all day and not even notice.
Sonys suck ass. They fit the worst of any eardud I've tried and dont sound that great maybe because the horrible fit. I returned 15min after opening.
Floss, have you tried the Steel Artic gaming headset series?
Thank you for this review hilarious facts and totally agree with the Evo in the gym. Thanks again great review 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I struggle with earbud getting loose or falling out, got the Bose qc utras as they were meant to be good for staying in, nope they fall out to, any suggestions boss
For the gym or just daily?
@@FlossyCarter for the gym mate
Which technics are these? Az-40 and Az-60 are on sale on Amazon. Are they worth snagging ?
I love these kinds of videos! My life is all music. Thank you for the real reviews floss!
My nothing ear 1s just won't charge anymore so looks like I'll be watching this to see what my next set of headphones will be. Thanks Floss
I'm still rocking the audio technicas you recommended. Best set that I've ever owned
Which Sony MP3 player is that?
thanks for the great review. Could you let me know which of these earbuds have the loudest volume please ? (has to work with Android) thanks in advance !
What’s your budget?
@@FlossyCarter I wish not to spend over the Eur 300 (approx Usd 300). thanks in advance for your suggestion
For you the Momentum 4 are better in Sound quality than de B&O EX ?
Yes for me. I have both❤
@@jiagforal so do you think the Momentum 4 are better in sound quality?
Hey Floss, I know you talked about the audio codecs in the video. If you only had one phone, let's go with the galaxy S24 Ultra 5Gansta Alpha Omega Supreme aka Galactis 3.0, does it change your ranking at all?
So you still prefer the skullcandy crusher evo over the anc 2 Floss?
My 24 ultra is fine. I use extra brightness and it allows me to keep the slider down. Works for me. I bought the Tozo and like them. I just can't use anything that goes in my ear. Never works out.
You prefer the open ear style?
Mr floss whats the best earbuds with base you like ear buds right now
Bowers and Wilkins PI8
Great budget alternative are the Nothing Ear 2024.
I got Senn headphones but not the earbuds. Is the sound signature the same or nearly the same on both?
What do you mean?
Which buds are you using when you are rocking the S24 Ultra? I have the same phone and on the fence about new buds, I have Wf1000XM5 and Bose QC2, I was tempted to buy the Momentum 4 to try but I worry about the lack of Aptx. Stick with Sony?
Are the bose qc ultra good for working out ?
Pretty great, oval style tips and fins work wonderful for my ears. These buds are pretty fantastic all arounders, very good in workouts, for strictly running they're fine.
What’s good for like a truck driver everyday might get dirt in them trying get some for my dad and his phone not the top of the line phone but it is a Samsung phone but not like a ultra or anything trying to find some?
