controlling the circuit in 2 (two) different position is possible and necessary in situations where you control the motor with a direct online starter or forward reverse starter.
You may position start stop on the control panel near the machine or motor, the second position may be meters away from the motor.
This kind of setting can be found in the factory. for example, if you are controlling a conveyor belt or escalator.
This same method can be used also with emergency switches
