Thanks so much! This worked on my iPhone 12 and my husbands old iPhone 8. I laid the phone flat, used a q-tip to rub alcohol on the speakers, and I let it sit for about two minutes. Occasionally applying a little more alcohol. Then used a toothbrush to get the debris. I couldn’t hear the sound at first, then after the alcohol I could immediately hear it working. Magic. Much appreciated!

You’re supposed to use this video right away, even after you’ve waited too long wait for your phone to dry up. Dump Rubbing Alcohol on the speaker then tip it over to drain…as it’s draining play this shit

This technique really works... Could bearly hear from my top speaker when making call but now it's perfect... @@heapbytes my uncles old phone was a 12 pro max. New phones play audio out of the main speakers and the earpiece speakers. If it’s not coming out of your earpiece speaker. Your phone may be too old.
I can vouch for this method! I purchased a used iPhone 13 Pro Max in Silver, and while I love it, the bottom speaker had a rattle with certain music. I was almost going to sell it, but it was hard to find the Silver color again. Then, I stumbled upon this video and gave it a try. Now, my speaker sounds much better! Can't believe it actually worked!
Thank you for this! I could barely hear anything even on speaker and didn’t have the money to take it in! Tried cleaning and the air spray stuff and nothing was working. Did the drops of alcohol and this sound it it’s back to normal.
Okay, so it worked for me!! I used hand sanitizer instead (62% alcohol). I literally just swiped a little on it and used the back of my eye brow pencil brush to scrub it a little. I repeated a couple times. I didn’t think it worked at first but I went out of this video and replayed the first one where the guy was talking and it improved significantly! You got this!
This worked perfectly! I used 70% isopropyl alcohol as that’s all I had available and I’m happy to report to those worried about the lower alcohol percentage that it didn’t do any damage to my phone’s speaker! My phone is from 2015 so I was a little concerned about its water resistance because it is a much lower rated IPS than that of newer smart phones which are generally water proof. I simply soaked a cotton swab with that 70% isopropyl alcohol and repeatedly pushed the swab firmly into the speaker holes while this video was playing at full volume. I did this process 2 times with the video also playing all the way through twice. The muted and scratchy sound has been fixed. 👍🏻 Thanks for the tip. 😊

It’s amazing! I could barely listen to the other person. Had to dig the phone to my ears to do that. I sprayed lens cleaner and played it for merely a couple of minutes while brushing it and voila it’s turned new now. Thanks very much. Wishes!

I usually don’t leave reviews but this has helped a tremendous amount , I could barely hear and after cleaning its 100x better I was on the verge of getting my speaker replaced
So simple I can’t believe I’ve had the same issue with 3-4 iPhones now and a big reason to upgrading was because the sound was just broken or to badly damaged, I went into a phone repair shop twice and they told me they’d have to take my phone apart and they wouldn’t do it because apparently to risky to take apart the phone with a couple cracks on the screen. Then in 5 minutes of listening to this a couple squirts of iso alcohol and a little brush and it is so much better not quite back to baseline but so much better it’s unbelievable how easy it was.
I’m not much of a review guy, but helped me out like magic. Although it took about 10 minutes to work, it eventually cleared up my earpiece aa if it was new. Cheers to OC!🙏🏻

Dropped my phone in my nachos 😢 ear speaker had beans and sour cream in it for sure and couldn’t hear a call well. Switched my iPhone audio to ear speaker and dropped some alcohol on the speaker and hit play. Alcohol was splashing off and sound was instant clearer as soon as I wiped it dry. Did it once more and it literally feels like the speaker is blowing a little air out of it. Very simple effective and impressive im thankful

Yeah anything under 90 is not approved for electronics. Any impurities or conductivity can fry the circuits. Good thing it didn't go too deep.

Dropped my phone in my nachos 😢 ear speaker had beans and sour cream in it for sure and couldn’t hear a call well. Switched my iPhone audio to ear speaker and dropped some alcohol on the speaker and hit play. Alcohol was splashing off and sound was instant clearer as soon as I wiped it dry. Did it once more and it literally feels like the speaker is blowing a little air out of it. Very simple effective and impressive im thankful
