It's definitely possible. He has a lot into the suspension and a huge stall, good tire, good fuel and tune. Maybe the whole car is lightened a lot. Better rear gears also. That suspension is set up sick. For those who know racing suspension is just as important as motor.

Stock they weigh 3400. nice car and nice time. but this engine Def got more going on than just a 250 shot, on stock cube. 408ci maybe?

Calculating it out a 3250 lb car would need 900 hp to run an 8.95. Thats assuming they cut a ton of weight off the car and not counting the drivers weight.
Different brand but close to same cubes, my brothers 321 stroker, flat top pistons in full weight mustang on 250 shot went almost High nines in quarter Mile. He has suspension also

When you install rod bolts usually the rod ends need to be re-sized which involves machine work but I doubt you knew that. I could install a Procharger on a stock engine with ZERO modification internally but still stock engine though. LOL!

I love the stock bottom end debate, always a touchy subject. 😄
