Candy Crush Video: • ARTMS ‘Pre3 : Candy Cr...
When Haseul said "plastic candy" it was like in the movies or book when they name drop the title during a dialogue pdjsdmj
When Haseul sings "plastic candy" I blushed 😳
plastic candy was already so good and yet they ELEVATEEEDDD… oh the power of ot5 ARTMS
it sounds very fresh in this ocean of 80s throwback that has been happening in kpop… love that for them
everything they've put out recently has all been very unique. it really shows their talent, vocal range, and ability to do different concepts effectively. and it's just the beginning!
having Haseul voice in a song is such a cheatcode lmao
ARTMS is something else
artms showing everyone they can do it all i know thats right...and i feel the same way abt "throwback" kpop songs at the moment but their voices were so lovely, and the production was rly good so i got no complaints 💕
I really miss when you used to say "..and I am back, I'm back again today with another LoooOOOOooonaaaa". One day, we will be back.
I LOVE city pop but I was kind of worried that it might be "just another" take on city pop in kpop but there were actaully some changes here and there like the chord progression that was just enough to not make this boring at all to me. Also the vocals and their delivery was amazingggg for this!!
A breath of fresh air is the perfect take on this song. It was so refreshing.
Like you, I’ve also gotten VERY bored of these throwback songs. But this one, somethings different about it and I actually really enjoy it. Might just be bias tho cuz it’s our Loona girlies
i feel like it always sounds better when groups adapt their songs to the city pop genre instead of just following the trending disco pop song structure like most did in recent years. for example yukika's discography is immaculate whilst disco-influenced kpop songs that aren't city pop have been getting so boring.
great music with my loona girls, on point production, stunning cinematography, hype for the album, past loona songs references, how can i dislike this? this is the recipe of a great song.
I'm also tired of the 70/80's throwback sound lol but there was a sort of darkness in the melody and little details in the production that made this song more interesting than other kpop songs that have had this type of vibe, the slowness of the tempo made it sound, as you said, more authentic and not just like a cheap copy of a trendy sound so it's a yesss for me
lmaoo you trying to get the words right was adorable 😂
Fifi not sure if you know but there's a basically confirmed theory at this point that each of the prereleases after birth are heavily inspired and/or use instrumentals from previous ARTMS songs
Flower RHYTHM - AlgoRITHM (used instrumental from Kehwa from Heejin's album)
CANDY Crush - Plastic CANDY (used instrumental from Plastic Candy, Haseul's single)
AIR - AIR Force One (Will likely use instrumental from Did You Wait? or some other song from OEC's album)
I agree with the flute! It was a nice little flourish to add flavor to the instrumental. The track is a vibe and will def be on my chill playlist for a awhile.
Sampling one of the members' solo songs for a single is insane behaviour and I am kind of here for it
Like who samples themselves!? This was such a good idea and a great way to get people to revisit their first singles
i have a love hate relationship with it. in theory i think it’s a cool idea, and i think it was implemented well in both songs so far but it does make it much harder for me to just casually listen to the songs without my brain just thinking it’s the song its sampling and thinking it sounds wrong when it isn’t haha
@@fallenaster I actually agree with you - I think it's a cool idea, but in practice, it's pretty distracting 😅
Like, all they're doing is reminding me of a song I like more, so I just want to go listen to that instead haha
@@fallenasteri’m having a hard time listening to Flower Rhythm as it’s own song, it keeps sounding like a Kehwa/algorithm remix to me and I wish I could hear it as an actual song😭
Flashback - Haseul's solo used a flute :).
Fun fact: Lippie, Jinsoul, and Choerry learned how to roller skate for the video. Lippie looks like it, lol.
im in love with JinSoul's auburn hair in this
im also tired of retro/throwback sounding music but since it was a slower song I was able to enjoy it way more than I would have otherwise
Is that flute sampled from pokemon diamond and pearl
i love your house
Thanks! ❤️
Wait, you still haven't reacted to plastic candy? Candy Crush is inspired and empowered.
The song sounded so atmospheric and rich. I think it's the best out of the 3 so far. I just wish it was longer with a bridge.
