Another nice video Scott. I was on for a few hours here and there today and never caught the usual JA opening. I'll hit it hard tomorrow morning. Only running CW this weekend. --K2QO
@@k2qo CW was the mode of choice, it seemed to me, so good call. The only JA that heard me (I was running 100w, as usual) was JA3YBK. Hell, I worked ZL7, UA0, KH2, DU, BY, 9M6 and E2 on 10m PHONE in October during CQ-WW, and 113 DXCC on 10m during ARRL DX last February, so this was a letdown vis-a-vis conditions. Maybe tomorrow will be better...73! de WX0V
It was great to get some new calls on 10m into the log, since there's the 10m SOTA challenge going on until the end of the year. 10W SSB from a summit is enough to work the world when the SFI plays well.
I had other obligations during mych of Sunday, but managed to make 50 QSO's on SSB, on Saturday and Sunday, including WH7T in Hawaii, from NY state, and Kaliningrad, Russia, among others in Europe, and VO1CH in NF, whom I previously worked on 6 Meters. Yes, last year, it seemed 10 M propagation was better. I often was on a 10 M repeater near Zurich Switzerland, and did work Lebanon briefly. Also last year worked a YL in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, a first for me Additionally, a V51 Station in Namibia on the 10-10 net there I do not do FT8, but over 20 years ago it was PSK31, which I enjoyed.I do do FT8, not for me. However, last 2 years our club, W2NYW does FT 8 on 6M Previously I had about 150 grids on 6 for VUCC, when voice was still on 6M DX. Licensed 62 years, de W2CH Ray and KC2NKU Marylyn 😊

@@markgriffin2285 Yep, it went "poof" very quickly this evening. I heard a local Big Gun strike out with normally reliable JM7OLW and that said it all about that path. Still, the Qs were there to be had and in 5 years, this will be impossible, so there you go. 73! de WX0V
I did a little over 100 contacts on phone casually operating. Great to hear the band packed.
Sounds like you had a good time on 10m...73! de WX0V
I had some fun this weekend. Was at W9KM multi op
Good to hear. Although deep DX paths were not there for most, EU and stateside opened up so there were plenty of Qs to be had., 73! de WX0V
