Just changed out a window motor on a cavalier passenger side because it would roll down easily, but would roll up very slowly and intermittently stop. I would have loved to see that on the scope for sure. Thanks for another great vid!

Unless I missed something it said fixing the window.......u might have showed a great way to do something else but didn't give me a clue how to fix a window. If u know how to use one of those multimeters or whatever that was then u should already know how to do this. But not everyone does so maybe u should change the title of this video.
If you're a DIYer without a scope or scan tool, you can also notice slight RPM change due to the current draw (if there is one) while the vehicle is running and operating the switches. It's not scientific by any means though.
What do the speakers have to do with it. I have a 07 Yukon I am desperately looking for the fuse for the driver side master window switch window does not go up nor down
The humps when I tested the wipers are coming from the commutators from the motor. If you ever seen a fuel pump amp on a scope you also would see humps.
@@OzMechanics the burned wire and a fuse ? i though there was only 1 fuse for the whole system? I asking because my passenger window wont go down but driver window work just fine

Great video Oz, shows how important it is nowadays to have a scope and knowing how to use it.

I like the tip about looking at the scope for current surges. Thanks!
Poor girl tip: Turn on overhead map light Look at light while playing with switch, light will dim if switch sends power to the motor
Keep it up bro with the good job.
Sup Oz....glad you're all good man....been a long time bro

Thanks for sharing!
nice with lots of tech tips thanks
Pretty cool, thanks Oz.
If the speakers were changed, maybe turn on the radio for the windows to work.
Ha Ha.
This is for a 2010 Equinox
question, so if you see no humps what does that mean?

@Oz Mechanics please make videos how one touch autoup and autodown window feature works... awaiting eagerly how it stops automatically ...

Hey so my motors make noise on my rear window but they don’t go up or down. What is it ? Thanks
Might sound like a window regulator

@@OzMechanics the burned wire and a fuse ? i though there was only 1 fuse for the whole system? I asking because my passenger window wont go down but driver window work just fine
@@luisangelvegasuarez647 it all depends on the vehicle. On this video this system had multiple fuses due to having different modules
@@OzMechanics I see, I will check for burn wires thanks
Mine it makes a noise tik tik and won’t go up switch works
I have the same right now, did you find a resolution to this? My carwindow also tiks when pressing the open or closing button but doesnt move
