Thanks for sharing....Cool little build, I wish more people would share the real issues they faced and how sometimes things just didn't work the way they planned. The information you shared is much appreciated as we attempt our first budget build.
As a DIYer I thoroughly enjoyed this. I finished mine a few months ago and could also give a tour of mistakes; fixing them more than doubled the time it took to build the camper. And I'm still seeing things crop up, like my curved, plexiglass windows cracking.
Nothing to be ashamed of there. I put together a cargo trailer build a couple years ago and it was a shoot from the hip deal. Same as you, watched dozens of videos on the topic. Pick a little from here and there. lol It’ll probably never be “finished.” I don’t take credit for any of the ideas, but I don’t mind borrowing them! Life is the adventure so thanks for sharing!
I won't leave any negative comments. Thank you for sharing the mistakes. That's something a humble person would do. Your video has helped me with my future build. Thanks Man!
I made this video, yes to show my mistakes, but also because before I built this, I scoured the internet for home-built campers like this, like what was in my head. I didn’t find much to go on. I had never built anything like this, i had no blueprints, it was all in my head. I literally drew out how the whole thing would fit on one piece of 4x8 insulation board. I’m proud of it, I’ve spent many nights in it, just never went on any grand adventure. Life happens, plans change and we have to roll with the punches. I hope that if anyone is thinking about building something like this then they might glean at least some insight from this. That is all.
Live and learn brother. Honestly this is helpful to anyone looking to build a DIY. I'm going to build one eventually. I have the trailer I bought a year ago and I've been planning it out and making sure I know my options and ideas.
Thank you for sharing your build. I really like the simplicity. Sometimes the build process relies on trail and error. I've made similar mistakes building things. It wouldn't take much to spin the trailer into version 2.0. Again, thanks for sharing!
Cool diy camper! We have a FB group called "Camping TH-cam Community Support" for camping/adventure channels. Feel free to come over and share your content!
@@jasonacyofficial I say take it as a compliment. If you can humbly show your own mistakes so that others can learn from them, then you've made the world a better place.
Nice video, nice camper and thank you for cheering both success and mistakes. I think it looks perfect. ⭐️

Very nice brother I have made a few mistakes too, stop by some time
From around BlackHalk?
Yes, my grandfather was Grady Acy.
Why would you build something 2 years ago and never use it
Life happens....
Jasen you related to the Acy in Brookhaven Ms
Could be, I’m originally from Greenwood area in Mississippi.
I've learned what's not to do from this camper.
I built within my budget, but I was sure to point out my mistakes, not sure to take your comments as insult or compliment?

You took the time to make a unneeded negative comment, shows a lot about you.
