In today's video I breakdown my thoughts and feelings during the Copenhagen Marathon 2024 in which my return to marathon racing didn't quite go as well as I'd have liked. Thanks for following along on this comeback and I'll be back racing the marathon later in the year.

Finishing 29th out of 15,000 runners and running nearly solo for half the distance, it's hard to fathom the mental and physical stamina required to complete such a race! And he did so with such humility-truly remarkable!

There'll be a future race when you're feeling physically better, but a marathon is always hard at the limit. It's then when you'll remember having the mental strength to get through the tough times in Copenhagen and that can be the difference in pushing through to reach your goal. Tough times now can = good times later

Watching your channel since 1.5 Years now, and it inspired me and my twinbrother to run aswell. On the day of your marathon, we ran our first Halfmarathon (we just turned 16) and we finished in 1:21. So happy that we started running and special thanks to you for inspiring us. Also nice to see you comeback

Man, so sick. Love the breakdown.
I've only been running since like 2020, and pretty inconsistent due to other sports/injuries but want to start doing some like 5k maybe 10k races locally. I have no system, I don't know how to warm up or cool down correctly, and I don't understand running training splits. I will run 4k or 5k 2-4 times a week, and I avg like 5:30-6:00 km's. Any advice on where to start? Mostly interested in just longevity and health purposes but would be cool to run a 22 min 5k.
I ran a 24:30 5k one time a couple years ago, but haven't been able to get back since.

Congratulations, Ben on seeing the race through to the end. Must have been tough to guts it out for so long - especially as you seem to be running by yourself for a lot of the race. Not really what one would expect in a city marathon. From watching the training videos prior to the race I got the impression that you were not, perhaps, 100% confident in your fitness levels going into the race? Also, do you think looking back that the day before the race you might have spent a bit too much time on your legs, walking about quite a bit?

Kinda unfair cause I’m only 21 struggling from this but I’m trying to do PT soon, just complicated, but just wanna know any advice and other alternative exercises I can do to maintain endurance and cardio.
