    That is so clever! Actually you could use the base piece that you originally dumped the embossing powder on. You could leave the square outline or cut it away and use it as an ephemera piece!

    This absolutely is the MOST brilliant thing I have seen done with embossing powders. I have TONS of colors that I haven’t used because I realized that I prefer the ultra fine powders for embossing images that I like to watercolor and for sentiments. Using all these other larger particle powders / colors is brilliant. You have a new follower! Much love and craftiness from North Carolina in the U.S.
    I even have a lot of the dies you have. Love that Simon die you used!

    Years ago a sewing instructor shared the difference between ironing and pressing. To iron you slide the iron around on what you are ironing. To press you lift the iron while you move from one spot to another. She said pressing was the proper approach for seams. I think if I try your idea I will initially press and then, when things are set I might iron.

    • @Chrissieannie
      @Chrissieannie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Excellent comment! It's easy to make the top layer of parchment move if you iron... Maybe I should stick to pressing! Thank you so much! ♥️♥️♥️

    Can I give you a tip to try, mix a solution of washing up liquid (small amount) with some water in a small spitz bottle and mist the sticky tape this will allow you to move it, don’t worry once the water dries it as if you never used it. You don’t need a lot, if you test the tack by wiping your finger across the sticky surface you’ll know it is enough. Once you squeeze them together it will dry and be bonded. Ps this trick is also useful when you apply your tablet and phone protectors. It will allow you to use a credit card to push out any bubble’s
