The first Suede album really is worth a play through. A very audacious debut that seems to combine the bombastic influence of Bowie with the contemplative side of the Smiths.
Do yourself a favour and give this whole album a listen! It's excellent and underrated compared to Different Class. Pink Glove, Lipgloss, Babies, and Acrylic Afternoons are all standout tracks.
If you fancy it, I heartily recommend checking out Pulp's last album, We Love Life, which to my ears is their best, and is generally hugely undervalued. Apart from anything else, it *sounds* spectacularly good (produced by the Actual Legend that is Scott Walker!), and the songs are as good as any in their fabled catalogue. Sunrise is absolutely *stunning* and would be a good entry point.
First of all thier was no such term as glam rock when Roxy music influenced bands like this with thier appearance ,Come on man lets hear some real art rock ( not glam rock) you have no idea whatglam rock is it, thier stage appearance NOT thier music typical chords influenced for commercial pop. Did you know that Roxy Music had the staying power of being to have a 50th anniversary tour how many bands you track can last that long not many my friend I have been folllowing Roxy Music For 48 yrs And I will be seeing them in Austin at the Moody center sept 21 I would highly recommend a enjoyable 50th aniversary for Roxy Music
