Good to hear something other than 'Common people' for a change. Pulp were around since the late 70's with little commercial success until this album. 'Babies' is a great tune.
The original line in the chorus is 'I don't care if you screw him' instead of 'I don't care if you knew him' ;) You should definitely check out more Pulp songs i.e. 'Disco 2000', 'Babies' or 'This is Hardcore' ❤
@@Erol_808 'Different Class' is definitely my all time favourite album. So glad I made it to Dublin in June to see Pulp live for the first time. They were absolutely awesome! 🥳
Pulp was huge in the UK, not really brit pop but had their biggest hits during that time, Pulp where going for years before making it big, checkout some more of their stuff! Another band you've not reacted to from that same era is 'Suede' ... I think 'Pulp' along with 'Suede' stood out from all the other brit pop music of that time :)
pulp, another band like blur that i appreciate a lot more these days than i did back then did my head in when they were overplayed on the radio day in day out, but i enjoy listening to them now, they did some good stuff
The riff and verse/chorus melody are catchy as hell. If you can’t appreciate this track then you probably have to turn your back on half of pop music produced since the 60s, as it’s just a perfect bit of pop-rock!!
Kids right, the major and minor change in the chorus with the guitar solo part changing with it - sends tingles. Production is weaker than i thought, reverby perhaps.........However Jarvis Cocker is a legend. Really hard to translate the importance of the British sound of the 90s.
Sorted for E's & Wizz &Babies are great tracks by Pulp, whenever pulp is mentioned Common people always pops up & thats been played so much I can't stand the song, a touch of the Overkill

The first band I loved and I still do that taught me each to there own the way they sang and showed things

The whole album 'Different Class' was brilliant including 'Disco 2000'!

babies is a top tune!
Disco 2000 from pulp is a must. Absolute banger.

Pulp were - and are - amazing. Jarvis is an icon.

That was a great track, loved it.
Pulp and James are underappreciated in North America. Pulp's album "This Is Hardcore" is a Top-5 best album of the 90s and few have even heard of it.
your right, they are very under appreciated around here 😳
Good choice! Now it's time for Suede. Dad, do you know the song "It starts and ends with you"? Amazing! Nice channel, by the way. Cheers from Portugal

pulp had some goood tracks my favourite two are sorted for e and wizz and lipgloss
Have you guys come across The Divine Comedy or Talk Talk?
Interesting you mentioned stone roses in the intro about britpop. 1995 pulp replaced stone roses at Glastonbury festival and we're amazing.
His n Hers is one of my all time favourite albums, and yes, for me, better than Different Class. And Jeez, its I dont care if you SCREW him!

Did you ever listen to Pulp and Underwear from Different Class?
not yet, but will check it out 😎 from their debut album in 95 I think.
Do a reaction to Elbow and the BBC orchestra- Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver. Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
Get some Stereophonics on your channel lads 👌
It missed the first 10+ seconds of the song, the slow build up.
It would be rude not to do Joe Cocker's Summer in the City.
Pulp like Joe Cocker came from Sheffield NOT Manchester...
Happy Mondays fellas. Try. wrote for luck.
