Travers actually got dumped by his record label (Polydor) in 1981 after "Radio Active" but won a breach of contract lawsuit, after which they had to let him record two more albums (Black Pearl in 1982 and Slap Shot in 1984.) This song is from Black Pearl. Travers put out some excellent music.. I think his lawsuit against Polydor made other producers not want to deal with him.

This video is corny and goofy . I love the element of a guy being madly in love with a woman so much so that he always is looking for one more way to let her know but isn't willing to sacrifice who he is . So that makes me love the video but that woman seems like she's willing enough to show affection to sleep with him then cuz he's different she gives him the cold shoulder .That aspect of how fake she is .She should be totally different with him and how blessed she is to have him

This is not great...Pat is clearly not an actor, and...as a guitarist myself, I hate the not-plugged-in guitar...but that's the director's fault. Pat's not prancing around like he's heading out to a gay pride parade, like Billy Squire did. No comparison. First time I've ever seen this, so I doubt it had anything to do with his career. Being swayed by the music industry, and going away from what made him great is what hurt him.
