1999 Silverado 5.3, Texas Speed Stage 2 Low lift Cam, cold air intake, Detroit tru trac and 4.30 Nitro Gears front and rear 4" Lift with 33's. highway RPM's
This was useful thank you. I want to hear my 2005 Chevy express 3500 and didn’t know if to do 4.30 or 4.56 gears. I like your rpm and speed combo. Good video.
@@jonathantorrez4198 it seemed better as you didn’t have to use so much power to get it moving. I didn’t do any actual figures this was just observing. I broke the rear frame and got rid of the truck. Replaced it with a 2016
@@ChrisGarage thanks for the reply and I have a 07.5 silverado with the 3.73 gears and i tow a lot and it's pretty gutless with 6K behind it. You think me upgrading to a 4.30 gear will be too much gear or should I go with a 4.10 gear? I also only tow around tow also.
@@kevinmcquitery4543 I went with the 4:30:1 due to driving my truck on the highway but I had 33.5” tires on it that were 62lbs a piece. 4:30:1 was good for me to get my power back I believe I was teaching 3k at 80mph
You've finally returned!

How much was everything/ labor to have gears installed?
I paid I think around 500-600 for the front and rear differential gears. Installed them myself
