    So it turns out the Hudson just got stuck... No Issues with it since! Maybe just breaking in, I guess

    The Hudson float valve likes to stick occasionally. Usually you can use your hand and move it up and down and it should operate and not overflow again. Also there is a filter on it. Most people remove it because it restricts flow to your tank. Will have to unscrew it to remove the filter. Hope that helps and doesn’t give you any more trouble.

      Yeah I think it was just stuck... No issues since. Thanks for the info!!

    nice set up bro..just got my rig done last year 4gpm with 55 buffer from car wash two reels ladder rack on a 5x8 works great..need to get a 12v this season.I think your 55 being so tall really helps push the water pressure to that direct drive alot!

      Nice man!! Yeah that was the plan, to keep most of the water above the inlet port on the pump. Then let Gravity do the work!

    I also had problems with a Hudson float valve. Switched to the Jobe Mega Flow and haven’t had any issues whatsoever. They are a little different since they have to be installed on the side of the buffer tank. Also, they cost about twice as as the Hudson but worth it in my opinion.

      Thanks for the recommendation! I looked at the Jobe Valve last night. If the Hudson keeps messing up I will definitely try it!

      @@steppspressurewashing To add to what arnie said, you definitely need an inline filter on your way into your buffer tank and then another between the tank and the washer. Never have too many filters.

    If the wasps get surfactant on their wings they can’t fly. Still be careful tho lol

      I might have to mix surfactant back into my mix lol!! Thanks for the info!!

    Maybe airlock in tank try putting a small vent in tank

    • @steppspressurewashing
      @steppspressurewashing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Maybe it needs more of a vent than the lid provides. I will try filling it with the lid off, and see if that helps

      It's been working perfectly ever since it stuck that day. Probably just breaking in, or a bit of plastic got stuck from where I cut the tank. Not sure, but it works now lol!

      @@steppspressurewashing Thanks. I didnt realize the 2nd one was the x-jet. So if I followed you correctly, the air being pulled by the x-jet shuts down your injector and you go into rinse mode. Good idea. I am looking at the flowpro, but your set up may be good as I am just starting, and could wait on the upgrade.

    • @steppspressurewashing
      @steppspressurewashing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Im glad I could help!! Actually what closes the DSI is the back pressure caused by the smaller orifice on the x jet. The flow pro looks like a great addition, and is on my list of upgrades. It is not at the top simply due to price/value compared to other items I need.
