Yes this can be used But Q4 is +magnitudeL-bearing angle. The disadvantage of this are the ff: 1. U've got to interchange the dep and the latitude. 2. Sets of new sign conventions must be memorized. Negative signs in magnitude and angle has high potential of being interchanged just like what happened to your suggestion above. 3. Problem with interpreting the direction of resultant as we interchanged the dep and lat 4. It post some extra difficulty for non adjacent sides. But if you can be sure that above 4 will be no problem to you, then it's just okey to do it by the method you said (with the correction I mentioned)
It makes simplier than summ of Lat & Dep we used during 1980's CELE... In 80's CELE, not allowed yun programmable calcu's...
I agree

Currently pinaka convenient gamitin, yung angle na gamitin bearing na, no need for right thumb rule

Sir How about pag bearing of two adjacent side missing?
Sa Canon lang po ba pwede yung angle key?di po kasi pwede sa Casio Sir
Puede yan sa casio fx 991es. Butbthe problem is that iys no longer allowed to be used in the board exam
In casio, it is shift (-)
