This outro was the most comforting tune ever for it being a few seconds, I never wanted it to end.
This outro piece made you feel like EVERYTHING is going to be alright acting as a security blanket soothing the inner child in you.
It also unlocks a flood of nostalgia feelings and memories to connect.
I would compare this outro with Disney's signature intro.

And I always remember that when I thought that this iconic and beautiful end credits were just various transition sequences. Though, I know I must be thinking Full House, another show produced by Miller-Boyett.
Still, as for the end credits of this show, the skyline of Chicago is so beautiful I can’t wait until it’s safe to visit some parts of that place and feel the nostalgic reminders of learning that’s where this show was set.
By the way, I didn’t just mention Full House because Urkel himself had guest starred on an episode of that show himself. 😂😂😂

When ABC decided to launch Family Matters, the intent was to create a star vehicle for Jo Marie Payton's Harriette. Along the way though, Steve Urkel (Jaleel White, Sonic the Hedgehog) joined the cast, he caught on with audiences, and Family Matters essentially turned into Steve Urkel and friends.
Although Steve Urkel's character was named after a producer's friend and only supposed to appear once, the audience's response was overwhelmingly positive that the producers decided to make Urkel a regular character. Urkel merchandise included a talking doll, trading cards, posters, books, lunch boxes, T-shirts, coloring books, board games, jigsaw puzzles, backpacks, boxer shorts, pajamas, suspenders, bed sheets, sleeping bags, towels, poker cards, and a limited-edition cereal.

By S5 (1993-94), the Lorimar logo was gone for good, b/c Lorimar went bankrupt that year and WBTV bought Lorimar and also by S5, the new hip-hop-sounding end theme debuted in the ep. "Hell Toupee."
By S8 and S9, Bickley-Warren and M/B became stand-alone animated logos. The Bickley-Warren logo came when someone turned off the TV and the M/B had the words coming in from sides of the screen, accompanied by a nice, soft piano music melody.

    Late season 2 (1990-91) or early season 3 (1991-92).
This was the first Miller-Boyett/Lorimar series to have the Lorimar Television logo in-credit, instead of on its own (as on Valerie/Valerie's Family/The Hogan Family, Perfect Strangers and the first three seasons of Full House). I repeat: Family Matters never used this standalone logo at the end.

They are singing and playing the piano. Towards the ending of the very first episode, they are singing "He's got the whole world in his hand" while Rachel is playing the piano as the shot is zooming out towards the window, and the shot changes to this exact scene with the view of Chicago.

@@migueldisla2332 Technically it is supposed to be the shot of the ending of the pilot episode, where all the grown ups are singing in the piano room.
Now the reason they look different, or weird, in the exterior shot of the house while the camera zooms out is because those were other actors playing the characters in the real life Winslow's House, since the show was shot in L.A. so the real actors were never really in Chicago. Even in the opening credits, when the family's riding their bikes on the bridge, the close-up shots are the real actors, but the shot when is shows them far away as the camera zooms out to show the city, those were actually doubles dressed as the characters of the Winslows.
