The AI might sit in certain spots (like AP) but when in towns / raids they come from all around and chase me halfway across the map. Thnx for the insight.
If you’re really struggling go to a mil base and look for patrolling bots. A patrolling group of 3 should all have AK SM and SU nice way to get a USEFUL gun and ammo quick
Your wording was perfect. I am a casual openworld survival/shooter. I love DayZ but I just can't afford the time it requires to have proper experience. There were occasions when I ran for 40-50 minutes and nothing happened. Deadside isn't that realistic as DayZ but a much shorter time is enough to have some fun with it
@@farkasgabor4084 I’ve wasted 3 hours running to find a friend to group up and once we me up we died of starvation. It’s not a fun game at all. Rust light years better
@@bluetherobot agreed as someone who spent middle and high school playing rust and DayZ this game scratches some of those itches for me without me having to spend an entire weekend of free time just to get started. However I wish I still had the time for DayZ and rust as well.
I agree having a clean screen really is immersive, only if they can let us edit the settings of our HUD or mabybe making it small but noticable and all of it are at the bottom
i love how i can hop on deadside and play for 20 mins and hop off without feeling like i had to run for an hour to get to a good place to loot. deadside has always had something to do in the area where ever i find myself at in the map
I actually play on your server. I actually miss the grind of base building. I think it’s way to easy now even with being raid able. I’m sure they will be adding and tweaking things but I’ve been playing this game nearly since they released it. I’m not the best survival game player so this game has always scratched the itch for me. Your base is awesome brother!
I've had Deadside from the beginning, but didn't play it to much. off and on. Maybe 25 hours when it came out. Then nothing, until I saw the 1.0 release. I've put some time into it. Have 34 hr's now, still getting a feel for it. And I am liking it much more than I did when I got it.
I dig the game, just by the time I got to it I was burnt out on "survival" FPS/Building games. Between DayZ, SCUM, The Forest, Subsistence, STALKER and so on, I just had a hard time getting into it. I played for a few hours, and moved on. But it's good to see they had good updates and looks really good.
Came here from rust. I was looking at dayz but this seemed like a happy medium. I feel like there’s a lot of potential here. I hope they listen to the community moving forward.
Weather effects are cool. As long as they don't add temperature to the game. A lot of us players like Deadside for its differences from DayZ and Rust. I do play DayZ and Rust. But, games like Deadside give a break from those games. We like it casual. We don't want a Rust clone. Deadside is where I go to just chill.
I'm enjoying the game a lot and I was waiting until the right update to get into the game, finally getting in the 1.0 update and I think the game has a lot of potential depending on what they do next, first I think they should improve the AI, make it feel more alive, immersive and smarter (add voicelines for example and more variation in their behaviour) and add weather climate changes in the next updates
This game would be perfect if they allowed modding and allowed us to build in prefabs I comment this all the time as it’s so frustrating because it’s just simple little things that could take the player base from 5k to 35k and they choose to just ignore it.
i logged in after a while and barel;y recognized the game, for better or worse. I'm glad new players are finding the game - i got a decent amount of hours out of it throughout EA. Maybe i'll check out your server, keep up the great work blue 🤖
The game has a good loop to it but it definitely needs work on the AI. The sudden spawning of AI right on top of you when you enter a POI is very frustrating when it happens. There is also no ability to melee in the game. The biggest threat to losing all your good loot is to die and then get killed by one of the many frustrating wolves that attack you when you are basically naked trying to get back to your body. You have literally no way to defend yourself which is pretty cheese in a survival game.
Gunplay better than most shooters nowadays (people don't like bullet bloom and recoiled they think they are playing cod 😂) Base raiding if you don't get to metal then gg

Where the heck are you going to have enough mechanic toolkits to keep 3 jeeps and a bike in your base??? It takes 9 mechanic toolkits for one Jeep for 24 hours. I’ve put in over 80 hrs since 1.0 and only ever found 2 red mechanic toolkits.

How do u get logs?
You need to have an axe, approach any tree and go wild. Then on workbench you can make planks from those logs.
