- Today marks the start of a new series. Our adventure takes place in the lands of Livonia, where I began alone on the coast and would have to make friends along the way to overcome the dangers that took place in our journey. It wasn't going to be easy, for there were already established groups on the server that we'd have to keep an eye out for, but it was definitely possible to succeed if we were willing to put in the effort...
Everything in this video except for the cinematic intro was unscripted, organic, and recorded live on Twitch.

yep, ive found a few LONG TERM friends for hunting zeds in dayz over the many thousands of hours. a couple even ended up being in my town, so we became actual friends outside of the game!

when im a fresh spawn i always go to them to maybe get lucky but 90% of the time i die

I ran to gunshots recently... two fully geared guys making a helluva racket trying to bust into a base in a church. I crouched watching them and when they were both turned around to the gate I killed one and got about 3 or 4 rounds in the other guy, who ran away. I chased him down and killed him too. The gear.. OMG.. Went bak to the first guy and he had an LAR with 10 mags full of .308. This is on official servers to so that's.. insane loot. Risk vs. reward!

The fact that Sour is reading comments on a two year old video and taking time to reply on occasion is so wholesome! I'm slowly making my way through your older stuff :) I imagine you've heard this a few times but I figured id throw my two cents in. Uploading your twitch streams to a second channel would be pretty nice kind of like trmz does (tho he does it to his main) so people can catch them kind of whenever, even after its off twitch imo. Might be a lot of work tho, still thanks for the content!

I’m so pumped bro. I’ve saved my ass off to build my own PC, all because of u and a few other PC specific content creators. Finally, got everything on order, even a $400 GPU for just a bit over MSRP of $638 for a RTX 2060. Spent close to 2.5K on the entire set up. Watching ur videos, just makes me even more excited for the last few components to ship in.

I have never played DayZ in my life. However i find this video very entertaining and i enjoy this mans gameplay.
The problem with wolves is... where there's one... there's like 4 total or 5 even. Sometimes they all attack at once. Other times they send another wolf to find you then they join a minute or so later.
Wolves are seriously dangerous in this game. Just cause they come in packs and they get bleed effects on you very easily.
BUT it's a good source of meat, too. Little Gotti put a shotty (BK133 and slugs) to their bodies, usually kills them each in one hit. AND THEN they drop a lot of meat too so get a feast going but last time I did that I was DESPERATE to eat something so I literally made a fire right around where I killed them all. There were four of them. I killed and skinned them all but only had time to cook three wolves worth of meat before ANOTHER pack showed up and I was like "OK bye wolves!"
That ending is full of suspense . .. I can't wait for the next episode
Soap & Water would make a good detective series. Roaming from town to town, solving crimes.

New to the channel. I have yet to run into a group this civil, let alone band up creating a new one. Everyone I run to are more like "shoot now, troll later." Great editing btw.
It’s different when they recognize a big streamer’s voice. They won’t say it because “etiquette”, but I guarantee you almost every single one of these people recognized Sour’s voice and played along. Happens all the time.
I don't know how you do it man. In like, 80% of my encounters with other players I am the one who is spotted first, regardless of where I am, deep woods, roads, towns, it's always the same. Also, in those encounters that go sour, the other guy NEVER makes the mistake of leaving me uncon, _never_ ! They always finish me off when I'm down, without a fault. Maybe once that didn't happen, the guy just walked away so when I got up there wasn't even a chance for that sweet revenge you often score.

I started a fresh character on livonia and immediately met a fellow who went by the name "Vinnie" we met on a hiking trail where there was a map and a picnic table. I was a fresh start but I had a little bit of okay loot. I was maybe 15 or 20 ish minutes into my life... I gave vinnie a can of tuna, a bone knife and a flashlight with a battery. we went our seperate ways... about almost an hour later me and vinnie had crossed paths again... what was weird, we were clear across the other side of the map from where we originally met... so we knew we were supposed to cross paths... and things went south when we found who we thought was going to be our 3rd man of the crew, he was a well geared fellow running just outside of a village. we stopped him and he chatted with us... little did we know he was keeping us occupied and distracted while his buddies came up behind us, all I heard was "wrong day to get lost" and then I turn to my left to see vinnie get his head nearly blown clean off... I screamed "nooo" and tried to run for cover but very shortly after I took a 308 to the back of the head and met the same fate.... Sorry vinnie I should have done more to keep us alive a bit longer. worst part... I never got his steam name...
