If you can fall over like that at 75 without breaking your hip then congratulations. The fact he can get up and brush it off like he's 35 is pretty remarkable. That's a win not a fail.
Paul takes these little mistakes in stride and turns them into a bit of comedy for the show. True professional. People understand that it can't always be 100% perfect.
I'd pay to hear him read the phone book... Just being in the same room as than man is such a great experience. I hope to see him a few more times before he quits...
That's scary to see, Paulie falling here, there, and everywhere. At one concert I was at, he forgot the words to a song for a minute, and said, "Let's start over again--this proves I'm not lip-synching."
Personally, other than the falling, I love seeing this. The guy handles it with grace and humour. It's going to be a frigging sad day when this legend goes.
Oh dear god no, no don’t say that no, no no no no, he is immortal, no! I also hate the falling, but it’s amazing how quickly he gets back up! I mean the way he rolled after that first fall was pretty damn graceful if you ask me!
He has done at least 3,000 concerts...maybe more...that's about 9 or 10,000 hours on stage performing. Being a human...things can and will happen. I've seen him 7 times and he was perfect for those 7 shows.
He is quick to his feet. Thankfully he didn't get hurt to badly. I have been a fan since May of 63 and he is one of my biggest inspirations, so no one had better bad mouth him. He is a trooper and for someone his age, he can still rock out just as well as those younger dudes. Rock On Paul. Seen him live four times and they were four of the happiest nights of my life!!
I can't say I've been a fan since May of '63 because that's the month and year I was born, but have seen him in concert a few times since 1976 and each time he put on a great show. There is no one else like him.
He rocks better than the younger guys! He does one hour sound tests and than goes and does and almost 3 hour concert! Its amazing to see the passion that man has!
One mistake per concert. Each one lasts 2 and a half hours in which he sings and plays bass, guitar and piano. Great compilation this video but let's not forget we're seeing a genius blink as a casual man
He sure joked his way past the 'fails' like the superstar he is! Remember, the stage setup may be the same but every concert is done on a different stage. Details must be slightly off every night of every concert venue. Outdoor concerts are subject to rain so slippery floors must happen on occassion. And Paul seems to slip here while moving from piano to guitar. Most bands just play in the same place and for half the time Paul stays on stage!
Thank the gods that he has never been hurt seriously and continues to entertain his crowds of fans! Some other performers have fallen off stages and broken or sprained limbs, others have been taken to the hospital!
kewkabe no he is not a vegan he is a vegetarian. First you are not very intelligent talking about a topic that you are so painfully ignorant in. Take a look at some famous vegans they don't have neurological issues. Perhaps you should stay away from scientific issues lest you keep making an add of yourself.
He's not vegan for one. And in actuality, his very health vegetarian diet is probably the factor that has contributed to him keeping in such good health and spirit that even in his mid 70s, the dude still kicks more ass than just about anyone. Including those who eat meat and are 1/3d his age.
He was over 70 in all of those videos. He's now 75, still playing, remembering very complex bass lines, and singing to the best of his ability, even though he lost a little voice, it's normal.
wow, he's awesome. people will say this video was supposed to make him look bad, but in reality, it just shows how amazing he is! running around, still doing concerts and falling flat on his face at that age and STILL be able to get right back up and carry on, now that's talent. He's even more agile than most of the pop stars we have today! I love Paul so much ♡
It's pretty incredible a 74 year old could even GET UP after falling like that, much less go on and play a show with energy. Like wow for 74 he's in great shape.
Love Paul! He's human and wonderful no matter what. I love that he rolls with it and is such a professional. I just saw him this week in Chicago and I found him to be spectacular, even when I came out to begin the show and got so excited that he wasn't paying attention to where his microphone was and he started A Hard Day's Night all over. Love him
He's human just like the rest of us.Whoever put this out I'd like to see him try to do just an inkling of what Paul McCartney can do.The man is a great artist and a living legend in my humble opinion.
People make mistakes....it's how you handle them that makes you or breaks you. Some celebrities get pissy....some play them off with good humor, and turn a FALL into a PLUS. Paul uses humor to make himself even more endearing. Well played, Sir McCartney!
Paul = living legend. The best to do is to be able to make fun of yourself, and Sir Paul does exactly that. I witnessed him do that standing about 4 feet away from him. Amazing performer. And at this age to still be rocking out like that? We gotta a lot to learn from him.
It's hilarious how polished he is with any public interaction. When he screws up he has a go to line "this proves we are live" which causes the entire audience to burst out in laughter and no one is thinking about the screw up anymore. Any time you ask him a question he has a bank of like 500 rehearsed answers and jokes. Not a critique at all, its actually kind of amazing that he can be so robotic to the public yet seem 100% authentic and in the moment.
Has any artist come even a little bit close to what Paul has achieved in the last so many decades & has enthralled literally millions for 4 generations continues to do so.An artist of this calibre can hardly be considered a failure. A few onstage falls & he's back on his feet moments later. LONG LIVE PAUL.
I'm actually glad, because if he's able to fall all those times without getting any of his bones or organs damaged at his age, means that he's a pretty tough old man and he'll be with us much more time. Long life to Sir Macca!
The title is dead wrong. He handles all these little missteps with nothing but grace, comedy, and good nature. He laughs at himself, picks himself up, talks to the audience without the slightest bit of discomfort, and just presses on. Those are all signs of a really great performer who is perfectly at ease with who he is. Fail? I think not.
I'd like to see those who demean and unjustly criticise him,try to to what he does onstage or off and especially at his age.I saw him in Quebec and he was absolutely magnificient.Rock on,sir Paul.
He could play his guitar backwards and sing in pig latin and still get cheers. It's what happens when your a legend you get to do what ever. It's not like he's getting water bottles thrown off his head.
He's a professional. He fell down...he got up. He started to sing and his voice was shaky. He stopped and started over. He fell down a hole...wasn't hurt (thank God)...he got up again. When doing a live show, one must incorporate life's mishaps into the performance if possible. It's what professionals do. The show must go on.

A lot of today's "musicians" whole careers are a fail in itself.
Compared to such real kings like Paul.
You can say that to Bruno Mars, Drake, Taylor Swift and all the other crap stars
No truer words have been spoken
YES
That awkward moment when a 75 year old has more energy than you.
mysweetchord so true :/
And he takes nary a sip of water during well over two hours on stage.
mysweetchord bruh Pauls a vegetarian I don’t understand how he could be so hype
That's the answer I want to hear 😂

warptek yes!
He’s just so charismatic
He IS human after all! Fair play and nice recovery!
Even if he's still playing concerts when he's 100, and in a wheelchair, I'll still pay to see this legend.
I'd pay to hear him read the phone book... Just being in the same room as than man is such a great experience. I hope to see him a few more times before he quits...
iHatebologna59 he would never be in a wheelchair
i don't think he'd be in a wheelchair by 100
if paul mccartney narrated a whole audio book i would be in heaven
He's gonna be 119 and singing live and let die
0:20 If another 80 man falling like that they will got an injury but nothing happened with Paul.his body was stronger than me in age of 25

3 hrs not 2 1/2. McCartney kicks ass!
he's done a million things right so he can fuck up forever and still be the greatest ..
But can someone do a million things wrong and then do one thing that's better than anything else,
and get the same treatment as Paul?
75 years and still sing with this spirit, he is a legend, no one cares for a few mistakes in more than 40 years in this career, love you paul

His vegan diet has caused numerous neurological problems and problems with his balance.
