Tororo Iteso reaffirm their demand for a district

Iteso living in Tororo district have confirmed an earlier decision not to take part in any elections until they are granted a district of their own or their grievances in relation to their status in Tororo are satisfactorily dealt with. The Iteso who were meeting in Tororo have said they will await the decision of a team of 6 people who will be going to the United Kingdom to review colonial maps of Tororo, which they hope will settle a long running dispute on the status of Tororo municipality.
