I discovered Ram Dass on the eve of his transition to the “ah so…” and have been a devotee ever since. Longing to one day meet Him until I soon realized He has been within me and without me the whole damn time. Just understand that you are loved beyond whatever you think think you are could ever imagined because we are one in the same. 🙏🏾

The news of his death came lately. I had a wordless encounter with Ram Dass at an early Rainbow Gathering. While playing on a log across a stream, a shakuhachi, he listened for a minute or two, but I dislike any interruptions, so I did not stop playing or glance at him. He bowed and left. When I finished my playing, I bowed to the empty spot he had stood...

Our emotions are triggered when our desires are not met or satisfied. Intellectuals avoid social gatherings due to fear of being out of control. Meditation has its limitations; enlightenment is possible when our mind is awake, its desire is to understand the causes of our emotions. Freedom from hate and anger is possible when we understand them.

If the world did not behave this way, if people did not teach children to be something other than what they are, imagine the planet. We know as children we are being lied to but we had no chance as we lacked life experience to cope, we needed to be dependent to survive. Its a very sad place and I wonder why people have children ... then I realised, its for the parents to feel secure, someone to be there for them, not parents for you, its why parents allow the system to take responsibility then blame everyone else, its never the parents fault ... it’s exhausting to be anything but who you are.

In this dimension it seems that you have to experience being who you are not and all of the attendant suffering that goes along with that before you can discover who you really are. Just part of life in this plane of existence. Part of the Earth School curriculum.
