Hello, the chair is in the master bath for folks with mobility issues. Hard surface for easy cleaning able to sit down and take off your shoes and such. I hope this helps.
Ole Bloom - I totally agree. A good sturdy chair in every room including bathrooms also helps to avoid lawsuits, especially re rental properties. Sadly back injuries seem to be more common. Just a stool or bench can be dangerous. Landlords need to be aware of those liabilities. Yet another reason I no longer deal with rental properties.
I would get made fun of for not wearing shoes in the house and asking people to take of theirs. But that's racists for ya. I'm glad that other people in other parts of the world do the same
This is cool! Something you might not know ( I don't think you mentioned it in your video), some of the dome houses you pictured (the white concrete ones) are hurricane proof. The houses are not the prettiest but they were built to survive hurricanes. After a family built thiers and was the ONLY home left standing after a hurricane, many of the neighbors copied his design and it is now a standard for areas that are always hit by hurricanes.
xxOOOxx in the South Pacific islands they congregate in the native round huts , made from native vegetation (rather than the square conventional houses) when there is a hurricane, because the wind goes around the house 😊

In fact if I am just driving around & I see a for sale or rent sign I will go online just to look at it idk why I've always been fascinated but its my guilty pleasure hobby for sure. This type of house is called a yurt and they’re relatively easy to build. You can search for several videos on the construction process and it’s pretty interesting to watch.
This place is really cool, also nice and airy, I can't even imagine how much work went into doing that roof. Also now I know you can rent a cave I kind of want to do that. LOL

The chair in the bathroom is to help put your socks on / get dressed after showering. I'd imagine if you were with a few people, you would bring your change of clothes into the bathroom. For me it would be handy. Considering where the "bedroom" was, i would think the bathroom doubles as a change room.
Love to see a review of the earth house (Is it a Hobbit house from Lord of the Rings??)... And sure that's filled that place's bookings for the rest of the year :)

The chair next to the clawfoot run is most likely to set your soaps/shampoo/conditioner/clean clothes. The clawfoot tub is nice and all but theres no where to put your stuff without it getting wet or being on the floor.

Crazy grass valley I use to live out north in cali years ago. Grass valley is a peaceful area . It’s way cheaper out there. Now I moved backed to mass/ cape cod . I miss Cali :/ .
So I grew up around there in colfax a lot of those dams “waterfalls” have been there for decades this one looked not too bad but a lot of them are pretty unsafe
