Thank you for platforming Our Martyred Lady, happy to say I'm pushing 4k monthly listeners since the release of these singles 💪 Tales From The Grim Dark EP out July 31st
@@richardpellCompletely understandable. It’s the same situation for my buddies band a few songs won’t make it on the album due to time. Hope to see it someday in the future! For now though I’ve added your music to my playlist you guys do good work.
Lamhet from 600 to 1000 listens 9 hrs after upload is well deserved by them, I'm glad these amazing band are getting the opportunity to be heard otherwise I would not have the privilege to add all these extraordinary bands into my playlist, thnx Nik keep up the great content
Band: Portrait of the Assassin Album: For Centuries Genre: Prog-Metal 2011 was their last album release, then they broke up. 3 Monthly listeners, 1 of which is me. Recommended listen: Carcass Harvest if you're short on time. Listen to the whole album in one go from front to back, though. It's all one long connected banger.
I love coming back to these videos a couple weeks later and checking how much the monthly listeners have changed. Lamhet's quadrupled after this video, and The Darkest Part of Me is up over 10x!
Just checked out Dead Soma's latest album, Pathos, and I gotta say, the album is a certified banger from start to finish. These guys deserve way more listens.
happy to see the one frame at the end where nik finally saw the world is quiet here! ive recommended them every episode. i understand why it was skipped in the video, its not quite the right genre but they are so underrated im glad they got some kind of exposure
Hey Nik,First of all thanks for doing fun metal things!Secondly Holy crap satchel Earth Eater is now officially in heavy rotation in my daily listening...They are a SMASH!!
Band: Birth Of A Catastrophe Album: Short Stories Genre: Alt-metal They have only one album, which is Short Stories, and that was in 2010 16 monthly listeners only, one of which is me Recommended listen: At What Cost
Bal-Sagoth is an amazing band that for some strange reason is still under 5000 monthly listens on Spotify despite being quite an old band at this point, and no longer active at that... Still very much worth checking out as they'll be new to many people despite being an old band.
I love these videos. I wish I could be there for one of the streams but because time zones exist I can't be. So I just want to throw in one of my current favourite bands, Melancolia, they go hard as hell! Less than 5,000 monthly listeners too.
One of my favourite bands of all time which i found a month or two ago and only has 16k monthly listeners is Battlesnake. They're an Australian metal band and I haven't found really much of anything on youtube about them other than a few low quality live show recordings, but they are easily in my top 3 bands. They are almost brutally underrated.
I have no idea how I found Earth Eater, but I've listened to them on occasion over the past 5 years. I didn't even look at the monthly listeners because they're sick.
Check out these two gems: 1) Oscillation of Void (Instrumental Atmospheric Black Metal) - my fav song: Sunless Realms 2) Nahtram (Instrumental Symphonic Metal) - my fav song: Forest of Eternal Dawn
I was the one who recommended them and I'm wearing their shirt i bought while i was homeless in high school lol. Glad to see one of the other 3k listeners
Idk if these bands have been mentioned here or in a previous video but this is good content, so i'll just type out some contenders and do my bit of sharing bands and one of their songs to begin listening to them with 1 - Thus Spoke Zarathustra - "Babytron Decepticon" 2 - Mantikore - "The Destroying Angel" 3 - Gutslit - "The Killing Joke" 4 - Razel got her wings - "Incomprehensible Domination" 5 - Echoes Fade - "Empathetic Existence" 6 - Orbital Gate - "Cryogenic Mutilation" 7 - Shores of Lunacy - "Arsonist" 8 - Dying Heaven - "The Holy Blade" 9 - I the Conqueror - "Craven" 10 - Soul Of Sheol - "A Dark Touch"
Scars of Life Scars of Life Scars of Life! These guys never got the recognition they deserved. Fantastic groove metal. They're still releasing new music! Check them out.
Dude one band that i absolutely love is Called Prophecy. they need to be more recognized. like their riffs are insane and all of their albums are great. its like old school slam but i absolutely love it to death.
There is a small local metal band in my town of Woerden in the Netherlands! i think they have like 500 monthly? The band is called Canyon Literature and personally I am a real fan of the song MVDE.
Band: Atlantis Chronicles Album: Barton's Odyssey Genre: Melodic Tech Death The whole album is themed on underwater exploration and their more recent album, Nera, is math rock/tech death. 4k monthly listeners Recommended listen: Upwelling, Pt. 1
Sad I missed it but another good one is "the narrator" not sure if they're sub 5k but they have some bangers. If you're interested check out Devastator

Nice just watched your scales and modes video from 5 years ago. So easy to understand you and I’ve been playing for 40 years on and off. How easy to turn those minor scales to major?
A favorite I discovered a month ago is Underneath. Their new album "From The Gut of Gaia" contains stellar Deathcore/metallic Hardcore with some black metal influence. massive recommendation
That's really all you had to say for Mortal Reminder? Dig into a few more of their songs Nik. I guarantee you will be a fan. Their guitar work seems to be heavily influenced by Volumes and they do not let you down.

'Code Name : Mosquito' is their best song imo
