Great video. Love FJ's. I own two ('08 and '14). The '08 is the one that we take off-road, the '14 is our daily driver. Keep the videos coming. Greetings from Nevada, USA.
Maan, I love that rear bar with the swing arm. Looks so much more tasteful than the ones we have in South Africa. There's only 2 suppliers in SA that I know make them, and they pretty much just made them for the fact of making them, no design or thought went into just. Just looks like a Ute-adapted version
Have you looked at the Cape Town based company's dedicated front and rear JF CRUISER bumpers and bash plates ? Far better than most of the 4x4 accessories shops in SA , was introduced to them by Nelius of 4x4 Mega World Strydom Park , they are not cheap but rated as of the best available . You find Gobi x bumpers sold in Australia and the USA , where there are huge fj followings , a bit like South Africa's bakkie followings .
@@colinhoward74 I've looked at the Gobi-X bumpers/accessories here in SA. The non-swing-arm version of the rear bumper is a beaut. I love it, but as soon as you opt for the swing-out-arm version of it, it sticks out like a huge underbite/dining room table and just a solid unmodified block of steel. Where as this one in the video (8:37) it doesnt stick out much further than the OEM bumper by the looks of it and follows some sort of line with the rest of the body. The Gobi-X one looks like it adds about 15-20cm of extra overhang. I guess it's for rigidity, but like I already get hung up on my OEM Bumper sometimes, extra 15-20cm isnt going to help much IMHO. The other option in SA would be the ONCA rear bar for the FJ which is also a really good option or even the OutbackExtreme one, but that one also looks very blocky.
The green FJ is not mine but I saw details of the exhaust in the comments on one of the green fj's owner's yt video here th-cam.com/users/shorts64zFL_4Hn9g?feature=share . Hope it helps.
2008 FJ owner here ...FJ's are the best. Although I only do light off roading (nothing like this) I absolutely love my FJ. Only way I'd get rid of it is if I upgrade to a newer year model 😇

Lucky you got two of them. Fun to drive. In my opinion, the FJ is one of the best off-road vehicle in durability and performance overall.
Army green with white roof looks amazing
Great off road driving with fj cruiser makes me love mine more beautiful country side
Couldn't agree more!
Man...FJs can be used in the moon...nice vid!
That looked like a fun day! 🧈🍿👍😎
That looks like so much fun! I can't wait till I can do something like that!
You should. It's fun. If it's your first time then go with someone who has some experience.
Great video and awesome vehicles those FJ Cruisers! 👍
I'm owning a FJC, too. By the way, I'm so happy with it. But here in Germany you can't drive free like you guys did. Go on like this!!!
very very well done...
Greetings from Greece 😉💪
Thanks 🔥
Just came across your channel, great offroad course and the FJs look so 'at home' in the terrain! 👍🏼

So...is the danger music going to be playing the whole time?
It would be good to see a stock fj and others with mods ie: lifts
I have a 2012 Green FJ. I really like how the one in the video is set up. Do you know what mods it has?
The green FJ has an ARB bull-bar installed, a custom modified exhaust, 3 inch lift(fox 2.0 ifp) and 285 70 17 mud tyres.
What exhaust you running on the green fj?

What’s the year and mileage on your Fj?
Mine is the silver with the grey protective panels. It's 2012 and the odometer is now reading 98,000 kms
I just bought an 07 with 240k
For 6k
One owner , never off road and the body is mint!
Winter project 😁
We won't strain our FJ, when an easier route option is available.
Then thats not really offroading is it.
Man I must have been in a mean mood when I sent this message sorry. At least your out there having fun 😁
👍👍👍👍👍

The owner for 1ELL930 is not driving in a way that takes advantage of the FJ cruiser's systems, perhaps someone in the group could help them.
What do you mean?
That music is hideous, tried reducing the volume, didn't help, had to watch this in mute
Sorry about that. This video was the last one edited with a background music, all the newest videos do not have any background music.
@@Laval1 I'm just a grumpy annoying winger LOL, but thanks for the reply
What’s with the annoying ass music?
Music I mean really 💤
The music is bad
