Regarding ARP mode if anyone was unsure how he accessed ARP mode @ 8:45
You simply open up the "NOTE REPEAT" section and ARP will be all the way on the
far right of that menu that opens. 😎

The chord progressions is awesome! Even with musical theory knowledge it's easy to get stuck in a rut. This is nice cause you can just choose a key and musical style and just mess around and you'll come up with stuff you never would have otherwise.

    This is an excellent tutorial.
I’m glad that you covered features that highlight the musicality of the MPC line beyond beat-making.

3:44 How do you pull up that menu on the left hand side so you can filter out what you want to use with Tubesynth or the other plugins?
I'm on update 2.81 and I can't seem to figure out how to pull that menu up. 😑

Random question. I have only 3 expansions listed in my MPC X and I see people with tons of them.
Did I miss out on something as far as when I first setup my MPC X after purchase? I've had it for almost 2 years
but it bothers me when I only see "Clip Launch, Essential Instruments and The Vault 2.0" listed in my expansions.
Of course if I connect my MPC X to my PC then I see quite a few other ones that aren't on my MPC in standalone
mode but I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out some how? Also- is there a way to bring all the expansions
I can see while connected to my PC into the MPC X to use in standalone mode? I prefer using my X in standalone
mode 90% of the time! Thanks bro!

Can I make a video request... I know this sounds really basic and silly, but how and where things get saved would be really useful. Such as what exactly is saved in a channel strip, like does it save a wav in the channel strip for example..

Hey a little off topic to this video, not sure if you check older comments.. But I'm trying to distort a pad and have the into to my track be a slowed don distorted version of the main hook... But I cant figure out to mix and add effects to only a specific sequence..Is there a way? A way mix and add effects per sequence instead of having to commit to the effect for the whole song??

Question, can you only use chord progression with plug-ins (tubesynth)
or can you use chord progression with samples? When i load a program
(samples) and then select chord progression, chord progression doesn't
    work.

  • @collaborat3553

I've bought so much NI. Die for the massive and would take shots for it. But, unlabled buttons, I've owned maschine for years, was happy they came standalone and I'm really torn on the looks of the ease of use, arrangement and the workflow seems way simpler. Is that for real from anyone that have used both? Sounds can be loaded into anything and workflow is my main focus.

How do you perform pad perform in 1.9 software on the mpc touch without having that actually screen up.What I mean is on the older controllers like the studio and ren. it had a dedicated button but with the touch you have to go into the menu and only in there you can perform pad perform mode but when you go back to the main screen it switches back to regular mode.
