#MyArmyStory Meet Capt. Nina Kazibwe, born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, she moved to California right after high school where she studied Music Business & International Relations at Azusa Pacific University. 🎓
She originally enlisted in the US Army as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialist ☣️ and became an officer at her 10-year mark in service.
Now she's an International Military Engagements Planner in the Security Cooperation Directorate at U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa.
"SETAF is a great place to work. It's a lot of fun. I think for those who have never been able to experience Africa, this is the best location to do so. ... Hopefully everyone gets to travel to the continent and just experience the rich culture Africa has to offer."
#SETAFAfrica is an operationally focused headquarters with an expeditionary mindset that provides U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) & U.S. Army Europe and Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize U.S. Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis-response options in Africa and Europe.
