Agreed, some videos of installed cable railing has 9 cables and some have 11 cables. I ordered for the 9 cables I saw and it only covers 30: at 10 bays. This is upsetting because now we have to order more or space them out to 3/5". I want to stay within the manufactures recommendations because code says that when there's a conflict in codes, the manufactures recommendation take precedence.
