Yeah, i really would love if volleyball was bigger, imagine having lots of people to play with, and lots of gyms (at least for me it would be nice, as i live in a pretty small city). I havent watched haikyuu, neither got into volleyball because of it, but i def appreciate what it has done for volleyball community, its pretty cool to see new people getting to know the sport and really developing a passion to it!

I've been playing men's volleyball for about 8 years now (started at 10) and I gotta say, I love how quickly it's been growing these past couple of years. Super grateful that Haikyuu got a lotta guys into it. And this is actually the first time I've ever seen anyone with a platform bring up the VNL, which is insane to me. Love to see it.
@@toad7395 I was that guy unfortunately. Well, kinda, it was because some classmates of mine started playing volleyball cause of haikyuu, but they really were posers. Now i just love seeing the sport receiving more and more attention, and even i watched a lil bit of haikyuu, the thing is fire ngl
as a Japanese volleyball player who've been OBSESSED with volleyball for 7years, I'm so proud to know that the anime hikyuu and the sports volleyball is inspiring ppl like this, just like they did to me when I was in school vb club. so nice to see ppl in this side❤🔥
I have to say I can 100% relate to this because this is exactly what happened to me, Coach Donny, team Japan, and jump serving on my own at 1am. Bro deadass I thought I was the only one
watching the Japanese team is like watching live action Haikyuu. I get the YI hype, but Ran Takahashi’s insane serves, blocks, and Bokuto-like spikes 🥰
Watching Haikyuu with my 2 besties was really fun, we we like the entire time "gods we love those idiots" and found them pretty cool. Sport club life was all over the place alongside the passion and it showed, which is why it's so beloved, you can feel the actors being just as passionate about the sport as their characters were.
You just described my past 3 months in one video😭😭😭🙏 This was like my soul talking, after seeing Haikyuu I became OBSESSED with volleyball, eventually overcoming my social anxiety and signing up for a club and it was the best decision EVER!! Im so goddamn happy to be able to play volleyball every week, it's that one thing keeping me going in a dreadful school week. I don't allow myself to miss practice and when I'm free I go to my local park and train everything I possibly can for HOURS on end. It's so nice to see someone just as obsessed with volleyball as I am 😭🙏
As someone who plays at the high collegiate level, it’s so heartwarming to see how many people are starting to love and watch the sport. Definitely check out the D1 programs in your area if there are any this upcoming spring!
I started playing volleyball right when COVID popped up, and it completely killed my motivation. I lost an interest in the sport, because I had my responsibilities and kind of forgot about the joys of playing. When I got to uni, I was headed toward the gym and saw that they had INDOOR VOLLEYBALL COURTS and it reignited my passion. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm has never felt better
not once did i ever thought that there was also someone who practices jumpserves alone without any equipment for hours straight because they got hooked by haikyuu and team JP volleyball like me.
It is scary how similar our experiences were😂 right down to watching coach Donny tutorials. I also had a “that moment” feeling that hooked me when I was with my friends at the park where I managed to back set my friend perfectly into a spike after training for weeks on my own learning how to set. I was embarrassed at first to tell people I started playing because of anime but after almost 3 years I’m pretty proud of how good of a setter I’ve become as well as an all around player so it makes it feel a lot better to tell people haikyuu was my inspiration
Nah bro it’s crazy how similar our experiences were. I also started playing Volleyball in a park bc auf Haiykuu and a friend 3 Years ago, and now I’m a setter in my Team
You cannot be made fun of now, the amount of people that started playing volleyball bc of haikyuu is just insane. + I think its really cool when you saw haikyuu and just started practicing volleyball by your own, shows a lot about your motivation and will
I didn't realize this was a universal experience as haikyuu fans lol. Got obsessed with haikyuu and then gave pro VB a chance. Watched VNL this summer, saw team Japan, fell in love with Yuki like a normal person. Now i'm staying up late for the italian league. Next summer, gonna watch VNL again for Team USA then probably obsess about Matt Anderson. And the cycle never ends. 😅
8:12 I actually do relate to this exactly. I went from haikyuu, to watching pro play. Volleyball helped me cope through tough times and I’d argue it’s a big factor of why I’m still alive today. I used to my local park and jump serve alone in the sand court that was there. Sadly I didn’t train under coach Donny, but I was also at the vnl this summer and got picture with him there.
This is so relatable!! I played all kinds of sports growing up, but when I started college, I stopped exercising altogether. I also didn't enjoy what I was studying and became really depressed. After two years of suffering, I decided that I needed a change. I started playing volleyball in a gym near my house, and luckily for me, I loved it! Just a couple of months later, I watched Haikyuu!!, which got me even more hooked on the sport. Volleyball helped me rediscover my love for sports to the point where I dropped out of college, became a sports technician, delved deeply into learning about the body itself, and four years later, became a physical therapist. I can say for sure that having a hobby is so worth it. I'd have never thought that an anime about a bunch of high school boys playing volleyball would have such a great impact on my life. I'm so happy I started playing volleyball! :)
honestly, i got into tennis because of Prince of Tennis. and it also changed my life and i got super into it competitively during school. SO I GET YOU YOUNG YONG ! I GET IT
This is unbelievably relatable! I was struggling in high school and once I stated to play volleyball my mental state became so much better and saved my grades, and now I’m going across the country to play NCAA volleyball in college, all thanks to Haikyuu
I never related to a video so much as this. We formed a volleyball team in our school inspired by hai kyu,the jump serve part was literally me and I memorised Danny’s intro by now
As someone who played volleyball before watching Haikyu, I really enjoy Haikyu, comparing it to actual volleyball, just the sheer emotion, actual realistic plays in the anime and the popularity it brought to volleyball made me love Haikyu
Bro I feel this on another level, I got hooked on volleyball because of haikyuu and that made me join the school team and that shit changed my life . Like an anime got me into a sport that ended up boosting my chances at college, So much for anime rots your brain
Ahhh man I love this dude. Stumbled across this video on a bad week I’ve been having and it’s making me laugh. I love haikyuu too and I’m glad it’s lit this FIRE 🔥 in you as it has for me. Thank you brother, for the laughs ♥️
Volleyball also consumed my life as well in school and became everything to me during it. I haven't gotten to play in so long since responsibilities but I understand how passionate someone can be about volleyball. It's nice hearing someone talk about the professional scene instead of only Haikyuu (though I'm also a huge Haikyuu fan too).
This video was perfect. Almost exactly described my personal volleyball story, to a tea. Being a super passionate person, my love for volleyball is absolutely overflowing. I coach a local boys club now and I love it because I'm able to share my passion with the next generation of players and it's been a great outlet to share my love for the sport. I always say that volleyball is one of those things that the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. I hope your volleyball journey continues and thrives!
I relate to the part of feeling like I’m not living my best either. More so getting out of my comfort zone and exploring new things. Finding those passions makes a difference. I found passion in my art again after being in a long slump, and am also finding passion in reading novels, history of topics I’m interested in, and exploring the city I live in. Also, make the videos you want when you want. I like the variety of content :)
Dude your volleyball journey and my own could not be more similar. From watching haikyuu, my friends watching it, us starting to play together all day every day, starting to watch pro matches, I’ve done all of it within the past few years. My friends and I have flown to usav open nationals to compete for the past 2 years now bc volleyball is a major part of our lives. It’s so awesome to hear about someone that has the same experience!
2:48 A tip: if you're alone and need to practice volly ball, just try to serve to a wall. Try to master it and probably you can predict where the ball goes.
This was so relatable and such a nice video. I’ve just moved out 2 months ago, and I thought it would get so much easier to be with friends. But I end up staying in my little apartment alone and thinking the thoughts you also described in the video. I wanna be social, wanna do sports. But when it comes to it, I just end 7p studying or chilling. But it needs to change now. Thanks man
I can relate to this! I started playing vb when I was sixteen because of Haikyuu, before I didn't have any interest in sports at all! I've been playing in a club and school/uni for four years now, since two years 3-4 times a week pretty consistently. It has benefitted my mental and physical health in a lot of ways, and gave me great experiences that I'll cherish forever. It's also crazy how all of this turned into a routine - I don't even think about whether I go to training or not, and if I can't go, something is missing and I'm sad XD. Volleyball has also peaked my interests in other sports, which is kinda cool. Also, Coach Donny is the best!
Oh, I get you on so many levels. For me, it was a bit the other way around, though. I got introduced to Baseball through my uncle. He took me and my older siblings on a trip to Japan once. We saw a Baseball game there and it was SOO cool. Like, damn, Western Sports fans have nothing on that! And then my bro bought a baseball, bat and glove set and we kept playing. Then we came to school, and were able to obt for one sport that we would play for the whole semester. I always choose baseball, but basketball always won TvT So I craved to enthrall me in baseball via media and stumbled on some very cool animes and mangas about it. :3
So much of this is way too relatable to me. Volleyball has become my obsession. It started by watching Haikyuu as well and then me and my friends started meeting up in our school’s gym to play (we even signed up for a school tournament in which we got absolutely blasted). After a while I joined an actual Volleyballteam and by now I play 3-4 times a week (not enough) and it has become something I think about everyday. And I must say: I’m jealous about you meeting Coach Donny! I’d like to go to one of his camps but I don’t even live near the USA…
Oh my goodness this is the first video I watched of yours and I laughed so much. And I also now love volleyball thanks to Haikyuu!! It only happened a couple months ago so this was very timely. I just haven’t figured out where I can play for fun. But hopefully soon! And your animation is wonderful - your replication of Oikawa’s jump serve was fantastic!! I will be watching more videos of yours!
I've been playing volleyball for over a year due to friends introducing me to the sport, I now play in the club afterschool and am also teaching my gf to play :D. Its great to see new people enjoying the sport to this kind of extent!
I played in the 90's. I wasn't great at it, but I remember when I finally got the jump serve mastered and my team was so supportive and happy for me cause I struggled with it. Literally worked hard to time the jump then the serve. Later on I became so ill I couldn't play, but the coaches knew I loved Volleyball so much they put me on the 'cheerleading' squad and I could still travel with them to the state tourneys.
BRO HOW DID YOU ANIMATE THAT OIKAWA SERVE MOMENT SO WELL!? That’s some insane skill. ❤ Also I am exactly like you in the fact that watching Haikyuu singlehandedly got me into playing boys volleyball.
Literally same. I’ve started to play volleyball about 11 months ago. I got into it from Haikyu, but I also played it a little before with relatives. There wasn’t a team around the small town where I lived but 1 and 1/2 years ago some guys from my school managed to get trainers together and form a volleyball team. I am so obsessed with volleyball that I would play it every day of the week (If I could) and I always look forward to training on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I plan to continue getting better and playing volleyball but I have a long way to go. At least I can now do consistent and also accurate jump serves, my spikes are okay now and my receives are a bit better. I’m still working on learning a jump serve I can put all my power behind but that needs practice. In short, I loved your video I relate a ton to it, and wish you a good time improving at Volleyball! Hope you‘re having a great day.
Its crazy how i have experienced the same situation as you n volleyball became my obsession to the point that everything in my life has to do with volleyball n the desire to become the greatest, you are the best never stop with the grind n videos ❤
Honestly, volleyball literally saved me from the suffocation I felt from my daily life and is literally healing my anxiety 😭 it means the world to me and is inseparable from me due to the many benefits it had on my life and your video made me all excited again to meet or talk to people like you who are just as passionate about the sport and vball teams as I am 😆
I have the same love for lacrosse. Even though I started last season, every day I get a break im doing wall balls to prep for next season and I even joined my high schools american football and wrestling team to get fitter for next season as well as getting my gym membership yesterday so I'm excited to use it today. I also love skateboarding and even though I'm bad at tricks even though I've been skateboarding since I was 6 (I started trick skating late) I still love it and if I'm honest with myself, I don't know what I'd be without my hobbies and just don't understand people who's only hobby is scrolling through youtube shorts or tiktoks and nothing else
It’s just amazing seeing the sport I’m so passionate about finally getting more recognition and more people sharing the love for the sport. Keep it up guys
Watching Haikyuu literally got me so engrossed in volleyball that I'm sitting here typing this in the college gym, by myself, at 11:30 pm with my 8ams tmrw practicing my serve. Mind you, I am 3 months into what I plan to be a year-long training session where I drill volleyball into my BRAIN so that I can get on the NCAA team at my college... Yeah, to say that anime made me delusional would be an understatment
I've always told people that I got inspired by the game from watching someone spike as I thought the game was just professional hot potato. But I know the truth; it was Haikyuu.. I started using some home gym stuff, got obsessed with it, and begun playing after COVID. Now I am on my college team playing as sometimes a Setter, Opposite, or Libero. I can relate about the whole serving part for two years, it was me but against a wall, chipping the skin off of a cheap Volleyball I bought, but I don't regret it at all, I had no sports experience beforehand and it helped me develop my arm swing from basically shot putting the serve to reaching. Fun stuff, fond memories and still a long way to go.
For me, that obsession has been disc golf. I wasn’t very sporty in highschool due to forced extra curricular via parents, but Disc golf has allowed me to start enjoying an active outdoor sport while also improving myself in a particular hobby. SPORTS AS AN ADULT ARE FUN
volleyball and haikyuu have absolutely changed my life (ive been obsessed with it all since 2019 basically) and i wondered while watching this video if you read my mind and claimed my feelings for your own because i honestly feel the exact same way, volleyball is one of my favourite things ever
Bro this video was like watching a movie of how my last 3 years have been, started outdoors on grass and after careful critical criticism moved to indoor and haven't looked back, getting on the court makes me feel like nothing else is around me, no one to judge me except myself and how i play. Great video it brought me to tears honestly because of how much volleyball has helped me too.
As a quite recent addition to the volleyball community, playing for about a year and a half, I absolutely relate to this video on a spiritual level and I believe everyone should try volleyball properly
Haikyuu!! Made me fall in love with volleyball, me and my sister practiced and played for weeks practicing for fun and to join the team. We went to the opening meeting signed the packets and everything, but we ended up being bullied off of the team for our weight... High school girls right?
Here I am, at a time were I should definitely be sleeping already, wondering how you just described the past 2 years of my life (and partly my best friends life too) in about 10 minutes. The only thing I still have left to do is go see a game live, that would be an incredible experience!
8:15 I RELATE TO THIS EXACTLY OMG! Bro the fact that this vdo got suggested is no coincidence. It's just I have not managed to go out and practise like you did instead just being obsessed with it. I wish I could relate to that part. I AM LITERALLY OBSESSED and I have like my finals coming up like in a few days but I am here watching volleyball videos at 3 am 😭😭 I need help
it's crazy how relatable this is from how i experienced falling in love with volleyball but what hooked me on volleyball wasn't getting that one jump serve that was super sick, it was digging a really hard driven spike and perfectly passing it to my setter. after that i instantly fell in love with the game even more and wanted to play every chance i got. i still want to play every chance i get but balancing life with volleyball is important. great video, definitely subbing.
So crazy how getting into volleyball from haikyuu is so relatable to so many people. Japan and USA are two of my favorite teams and although I wouldn’t mind seeing ishikawa in a store, I’d rather see yuji nishida 😂
I wholehearted loved hearing your whole journey and how FAR you took volleyball despite learning about it recently (tbh the Haikyuu soundtrack really does one for you better than any other form of other motivation goes lol. As a YT creator and former competitive volleyball player myself, I have so much respect for your grind, making videos and then also practicing by yourself for 2 hrs at a random park even without a net or teammates. I'm slowly reintroducing volleyball back into my life after some not so great experiences playing it competitively growing up but hoping to continue to find a positive relationship with it like you did! Also sick animation skills needless to say as well- the animation on Tsukishima's moment is definitely not lost on me haha
I've been playing volleyball since age 7/2nd grade and now I'm in college. I love the anime and I heard season five is confirmed! I'm so excited! But a word from one player to another. Just remember to have fun! *PS: Love ur videos!*
This happened to me too. I've been going to casual meetups for years now, going through the mental and physical grind, and it's been worth it. It's such a blast. Do wish I had a friend group for this hobby though...
I started playing volleyball because a colleague told me to watch haikyuu about 3 months ago, and the truth is that I didn't want to watch the season of the match against inarizaki, but when I did I immediately started training at home, doing pushups, legs, jumps.... Using fly high and the song played by the inarizaki school band as a soundtrack. In June I signed up for recreational volleyball classes as soon as I got paid. Since then I feel genuinely complete, and your video made me feel so identified, I've only been here for a short time, but I haven't felt this feeling for a long time. Very good video, thank you very much for sharing your story. Greetings from Argentina, De Cecco's land
I started volleyball 4 years ago because of haikyu and I have gotten better and better, i have gone to Bendigo for indoor state, and then outdoor state the same year, and now this year, I'm going back to Bendigo to play for state again this year! I think that haikyu has affected my life verry positively. I think that this proves that with hard work and passion, you can become better than you think. and that goes for other stuff Aswell.
I started with volleyball when i was like 11 or 10 years old. I was bored because it was vacation and we didn't have to go to school. So, my 2 siblings had volleyball practice and i went to see them cuz i was bored. My mom started asking me if i wanted to get in the volleyball team so i could do something on vacation, but i said no. She started insisting, so i accepted and she asked the coach if i could practice with them for a day so i could se if liked it. I felt amazing playing volleyball. It was like discovering something new. It felt so good that i became better at volleyball than I was at soccer, because i also practice soccer, but what i mean with this is that, if you haven't played volleyball or you don't feel like playing, just ifnore your brain and go play some volleyball. I promise you will love it. I also wake up every day with the enrgy to play but i can't cuz i have to go to school and i have volleyball practice every tuesday and friday but yeah i feel a lot of stress when i wake up feeling like playing but not being able to 😅😅.
This just showed in my fyp, and Im so grateful to watch this video, its so relatable! I started loving volleyball because of Haikyuu too and has started practicing anywhere I can ever since. Loved the video man :)
This is so true 😂 I was on the varsity volleyball team in my senior year and the only thing that got me motivated to play (considering we lost basically every game but one) was the first season of Haikyuu, flash forward and I won with my team in co-ed intramurals in my third year of college-it really kept me going! I also got into watching Japan’s men’s VB team, which helped me with understanding formation better. Hope that one day I could meet or watch them in person!
its truly an anime, i can say i will nvr have any regrets about watching, an anime that changed me for life, not only is volley my 2nd most fav after football now but also the lessons in the anime just changed the way i veiwed my life for the better
My father put me on a volleyball training when i’m 10 yo. And I just got hooked by the sport. Watching Haikyuu when I’m 29yo just make me cry a lot of times. And that quote you put on your video was that hit me harder! The feeling when you do a crucial point in a match is crazy and you never forget!
I relate almost exactly to this. I had similar hobbies to you with few to get me out in the world. 2 years ago I picked up Billiards because I'd enjoyed it in the past and thought it'd be fun to join a league. Last week my team won our division playoffs, thanks in part to me crushing my opponent, and it's now hard for me to NOT talk about it. I'm so hooked. Just wait until you notice yourself making plays you only dreamt about when you started, they'll make you cry tears of joy.
This is literally so relatable I am getting worried, especially the part when you said you got depressed whenever you couldn't go to your Sunday volleyball, because the same thing happens to me when I cant go to my Monday volleyball. What else is funny is I started to go to the gym because of volleyball. Great video!!!
I started Volleyball with 14, because I watched Haikyuu with my best friend at the time. I’m 22 now and I still love this sport so much… And the most interesting thing is: It gets more fun the longer you play. The way you can manipulate your opponents, change the angle in the last milliseconds, jump slightly to the right, cross the other attacker for a short ball… Man I really fell in love with this sport. Really good video man keep us updated!!❤
I got the same thing with volleyball too. I cant play at all, and have no friends, so I have to actively pull myself away from watching content about volleyball because I will otherwise just be depressed. I am in the unique position that I can relate to your feeling EXACTLY. i am glad you were able to live out the vball fans dream. Good job man :D
seeing stuff like this make me realize how lucky i am to have something like a sport that i'm really good at. i do want to try other things and am kinda tied down by it, but maybe in the future i can try something new like this :D
DUDE THIS IS SOO9P COOOL YOU ACTUALLY MET COACH DONNY!!!!! i follow him for his haikyuu react vids and volleyball tutorials and i just saw your video and found our you guys met. Thats really cool!
Nearly the same for me. Started with a friend in the backyard, then watched Haikyuu, played the whole summer, started in a club, got hooked on the German Bundesliga and international Volleyball, went to many games. I quit football (soccer) because of an ankle injury which prevented me from kicking the ball :/) but it lead me to focus completely on Volleyball. I then switched clubs 2 times and now 3 years later I'm acually playing pretty high up. Since I got hooked on Volleyball I spend literally all day watching, researching and playing volleyball. It truely had an impact on my life.
speaking as someone who loves volleyball, i’m so happy people just love it, it’s seriously the coolest sport and i cannot get enough of jump serving and hitting, genuinely my dopamine highlights of my week. been putting off haikyuu for 2 years bc i’m bad at watching shows 💀 but i’ll start it eventually. seriously tho, if you’re reading this and don’t play volleyball, TRY IT it changes your life and drives you to do better in everything
I started to play vball this year bcos of my friends but when i watched haikyuu for the first time i got this feeling and it was like crazy now i Love vball and it is a truly amazing sport

Japanese voice actors are also just one a whole other level

You just described my past 3 months in one video😭😭😭🙏
This was like my soul talking, after seeing Haikyuu I became OBSESSED with volleyball, eventually overcoming my social anxiety and signing up for a club and it was the best decision EVER!!
Im so goddamn happy to be able to play volleyball every week, it's that one thing keeping me going in a dreadful school week.
I don't allow myself to miss practice and when I'm free I go to my local park and train everything I possibly can for HOURS on end.
It's so nice to see someone just as obsessed with volleyball as I am
😭🙏
As someone who plays at the high collegiate level, it’s so heartwarming to see how many people are starting to love and watch the sport. Definitely check out the D1 programs in your area if there are any this upcoming spring!
Haha I highly doubt I would qualify for that caliber but I would love to play competitively one day
Are you guys having a byu camp in Vegas this year?
I started playing volleyball right when COVID popped up, and it completely killed my motivation. I lost an interest in the sport, because I had my responsibilities and kind of forgot about the joys of playing.
When I got to uni, I was headed toward the gym and saw that they had INDOOR VOLLEYBALL COURTS
and it reignited my passion.
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm has never felt better
That's awesome! So much fun
not once did i ever thought that there was also someone who practices jumpserves alone without any equipment for hours straight because they got hooked by haikyuu and team JP volleyball like me.
7:20 Sneaky addition of the best panel in the Haikyuu manga that I definitely didn't cry for 5 minutes after seeing it
It is scary how similar our experiences were😂 right down to watching coach Donny tutorials.
Man the italians really know how to play volleyball, dont they?
@@ChristianMagoden they really do (esp in blocking) but the floor defense goes to the japanese hands down 😆
omg are we living the same life????????
8:12 I actually do relate to this exactly. I went from haikyuu, to watching pro play. Volleyball helped me cope through tough times and I’d argue it’s a big factor of why I’m still alive today. I used to my local park and jump serve alone in the sand court that was there. Sadly I didn’t train under coach Donny, but I was also at the vnl this summer and got picture with him there.
Also Ishikawa is my goat
0:16 OMG TENDOU REFERENCE
FINALLY SOMEONE NOTICED
Thanks for sharing your story!
It's so great to hear how one person can be so passionate about a certain thing. Wish I could find that special thing!
honestly, i got into tennis because of Prince of Tennis. and it also changed my life and i got super into it competitively during school. SO I GET YOU YOUNG YONG ! I GET IT
noice!
This is unbelievably relatable! I was struggling in high school and once I stated to play volleyball my mental state became so much better and saved my grades, and now I’m going across the country to play NCAA volleyball in college, all thanks to Haikyuu
I never related to a video so much as this. We formed a volleyball team in our school inspired by hai kyu,the jump serve part was literally me and I memorised Danny’s intro by now
XD
As someone who played volleyball before watching Haikyu, I really enjoy Haikyu, comparing it to actual volleyball, just the sheer emotion, actual realistic plays in the anime and the popularity it brought to volleyball made me love Haikyu
Bro I feel this on another level, I got hooked on volleyball because of haikyuu and that made me join the school team and that shit changed my life . Like an anime got me into a sport that ended up boosting my chances at college, So much for anime rots your brain
the power of anime
Ahhh man I love this dude. Stumbled across this video on a bad week I’ve been having and it’s making me laugh. I love haikyuu too and I’m glad it’s lit this FIRE 🔥 in you as it has for me. Thank you brother, for the laughs ♥️
Huge thank you for the support! Really happy to know that the video helped your day get better, reason I still make videos! XD
I like the variety of content :)
great to hear you are once again passionate about art, I'm sure you'll make some really cool stuff and have fun while doing it
Dude your volleyball journey and my own could not be more similar.
This man deserves more subscribers he is an amazing TH-camr
i would say about 63K more
maybe more
2:48 A tip: if you're alone and need to practice volly ball, just try to serve to a wall. Try to master it and probably you can predict where the ball goes.
Can we just appreciate the karasuna team art at 1:43
This was so relatable and such a nice video.
I’m so happy that more and more people are playing volleyball and appreciating it now :DD
I always choose baseball, but basketball always won TvT
So I craved to enthrall me in baseball via media and stumbled on some very cool animes and mangas about it. :3
i have heard Japanese baseball is quite fun to watch
Same for the part of figuring out where to play 😅 keep fighting knternet stra ger!
Also I am exactly like you in the fact that watching Haikyuu singlehandedly got me into playing boys volleyball.
I remember playing volleyball in highschool and between matches, me and my friends would watch haikyuu together, good times!!
THE HAIKYU REFERENCE ON THE BEGINNING IS KILLING ME.
I really want to play volleyball but no one else plays it
Going into a team is always an option
watching coach donnie and haikyuu are such cannon events for us volleyball players 😂
Fun fact: the word "Haikyuu" literally means "Volleyball"
volleyball and haikyuu have absolutely changed my life (ive been obsessed with it all since 2019 basically) and i wondered while watching this video if you read my mind and claimed my feelings for your own because i honestly feel the exact same way, volleyball is one of my favourite things ever
Maybe I did XD
How else sees on 5:55 a tiny black thing on the side of his desk
Bro this video was like watching a movie of how my last 3 years have been, started outdoors on grass and after careful critical criticism moved to indoor and haven't looked back, getting on the court makes me feel like nothing else is around me, no one to judge me except myself and how i play. Great video it brought me to tears honestly because of how much volleyball has helped me too.
Its kinda weird how even tho i watched sub i still know that was bokuto talking to tsukishma 3:30
Fr though I remember the scene like it was yesterday. I’m pretty sure they were in gymnasium 3 on the left side of the court
Why is this tooooo relatable like, getting into volleyball bc of haikyuu and the coach Danny part
The first few words of this video literally describes me in every single way 0:01
As a quite recent addition to the volleyball community, playing for about a year and a half, I absolutely relate to this video on a spiritual level and I believe everyone should try volleyball properly
Haikyuu!! Made me fall in love with volleyball, me and my sister practiced and played for weeks practicing for fun and to join the team. We went to the opening meeting signed the packets and everything, but we ended up being bullied off of the team for our weight... High school girls right?
Good morning

Here I am, at a time were I should definitely be sleeping already, wondering how you just described the past 2 years of my life (and partly my best friends life too) in about 10 minutes. The only thing I still have left to do is go see a game live, that would be an incredible experience!
Who started volley ball without watching haikyu ✋
As a long time volleyball player before the anime came out I'm so happy it did. It brought so much attention for the sport I love to play!
It's always so great to see someone so happy to talk about something dear to them
I started with volleyball when i was like 11 or 10 years old.
Been playing volleyball for a year now and this is super relatable, but my competitive side just wanted to play this man
Nearly the same for me.
5:35 talk about shredded tofu
t’s kinda crazy how relatable you are: getting into volleyball bc of haikyuu, joining the school team and
Now i am the Libero of my school team
*"True, we sucked, but we sucked togheter"*
THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!
speaking as someone who loves volleyball, i’m so happy people just love it, it’s seriously the coolest sport and i cannot get enough of jump serving and hitting, genuinely my dopamine highlights of my week. been putting off haikyuu for 2 years bc i’m bad at watching shows 💀 but i’ll start it eventually. seriously tho, if you’re reading this and don’t play volleyball, TRY IT it changes your life and drives you to do better in everything
God this is so relatable, when you get your first spike bounce and kill block it actually makes you addicted
I started to play vball this year bcos of my friends but when i watched haikyuu for the first time i got this feeling and it was like crazy now i
Love vball and it is a truly amazing sport
