Know what you mean about Mills and Boon, they were my mums book of choice from the market stall with the instructions see if you can get me a doctor/nurse one ( my mums now 86). The book sounds Okay but I’ve got to be honest I hate the cover and that’s what gets me hooked. Just finished Truman Capote ‘ in cold blood’ now half way through ‘Grown ups’ Marian Keyes ❤️.

Oh my goodness - this book 🤨🙄😡
I loved Meet me in London and was looking forward to this one but I’m really disappointed. The on-off relationship annoyed me and, at one point I thought, ‘just go and get a room’!!!!
Very frustrating.
I found a lot of this book was just about their friendship/ relationship rather than any kind of story. I just didn’t care at all about either of them most of the time!!
Such a shame as I love Toff and loved the first book.
I will read the others - hopefully they’ll be better…

Yes it’s a shame it didn’t quite live up to the first book but like you, I’ll be giving the next one a go and hope that it’s back up to Meet me in London standards 😉xx
