Great performance by the crew on the footplate there & expertly filmed. I had the privilege of driving 92 Squadron earlier this year at the Nene Valley Railway's freight group day back in June. A caged beast is all I can say, but sensitive control using the regulator & brakes tames the creature ieasily into submission! Just look at the cab layout, Bulleid the master designer knew exactly what he was doing.
Lovely soft exhaust chat and great to have an oil box on the footplate with pipes leading off from there. Reassurance for crew and time saving too. Wonderful locomotive.
Excellent. Very enjoyable watch. The still images at the end where spot on of Driver and Fireman at work and enjoying the day also seeing their smiles made me smile to. Thanks for sharing your video. Very much appreciated. 🚂🚃🚃🚃

Glad you enjoyed it!
Been a while since I've been on that bit from Alton . Lovely set up .
Say, how can you tell your speed if the speedometer isn't working?
How fast the beats are maybe, or if your in the coaches, how fast you go over fishplates (the bits that go, clack clack, clack clack)
NOT pulling uphill flap between each shovel full of coal? The fireman has no flap? Never seen that in my years of firing. Great reminder.
I thought the Bulleid’s had a foot switch?
Superb footage.......not criticism, but speedometer not working.
