With the prime being tough at times, I found that was more caused by the barrel than the spring. The stock barrel included with the blaster has that middle section that is machined to be a little thinner (probably around 15mm) around where the priming block is. When you change the barrel to a fully 16mm od barrel, the priming block can get caught up on it. I'm not sure if anyone has designed a new priming block with a slightly wider hole, but it's worth looking into. You could swap back to the old barrel just to make sure that's the issue, but obviously that would knock your performance back down.
Yeah, I talk about all this in the second video that will be coming out next week. Also, after shooting that video, I found out that they do make a 11 1/2 inch replacement barrel that is threaded now. I put the link in the description.
Heya Naptown. Thanks for the great video. It shows me that I dont need to spend the money on the metal parts to get 200fps+. Use 29cm of Swift barrel and a Kronos 18kg spring, and your there with worker bamboos and your choice of bcar. And its not a hard prime. The prime on the blaster does get easier once the priming blocks bearing wears into the barrel. The factory barrel has the thinner outer section so the bearing dont destroy the barrel. The factory barrel and a Bigshock spring gets it to 130 fps if you wanna use it for hvz. Its not a bad little blaster, and its great for cqb stuff.
Yeah, I'm going to buy one, but I need to get it from Biu Blaster as Out of Darts can't ship it here to NZ ;-; It's also NZ$148 last I checked, but that's with GST and shipping, so not that bad. And daaaaaaaamn, that dye job looks bloody good, nice work!
I did have this problem a few times at first with the beefier spring and the long harrier barrel. But when I tested with their barrels, I didn't seem to have the issue. So I wasn't sure if this is a problem with the kit or just with this set up that wasn't really intended.

Try a 30cm barrel with the BlackRaisins 1.6 long spring and a 1”inch spacer.
That set up for me is doing 230 on red workerHE’s 1.g

Thanks. It definitely turned out pretty darn well, especially for my first attempt.
Looks great! I don't know if that rough of a prime is worth it, but I'd be curious to see how it fares after a day of game use. Good job!
Stay tuned for next weeks video. Full testing done with multiple barrels and springs.
Do you find that the pusher no longer engages the slam fire mechanism causing it to not fire sometimes?

Just be be careful with the pusher o-rings on this kit tending to fall off...a lot under hard use
