How We Saved Thousands of Dollars on Our Kitchen

When we built our little cottage we really wanted to stay as close to our budget as possible... so we had to get creative. We sourced many things for our home from Facebook marketplace, including a good portion of our kitchen. It ended up saving us $4550! We found our range weeks before we even moved to South Carolina and the lady was so kind to hold it for me.
We also saved so much on our cafe appliances and countertops. FB marketplace can be a gold mine, you just have to stay diligent in your searches. My tips for marketplace are:
Save items you like, even if you're not buying them, that way the algorithm gets to know you.
If you really want something immediately tell the seller you'd like and ask when you can pick up. Even if you don't pick it up for a few days, most sellers will hold it if you have a plan.
Be willing to drive a little for a really good deal.
If you can't find what you're looking for, switch up your search words to broaden what it brings up.

Beautiful and thank you for the reminder above fb market place. We found 8 acres with well,septic, storm cellar and a single wide trailer that's livable but needs work. They're asking price actually fits our budget so we're hoping and praying everything works out.
