You never disappoint, it's really amazing how you give life to these tracks. This would be a perfect battle song if Basil had a fight against his fears like Sunny did.

He's not only gone through isoation, but because he had to deal with aubrey bullying him from sunny scribbling out the pictures, his constant bad memories resurfacing, seeing his friends suffer (and not sunny at all before he only has 3 days left of being around), and the last straw until he completely broke was his grandma passing. everyone mostly focuses around the main cast, but you also got to pay attention to who tried helping his close friend... the fact he knows suicide at a young age is concerning.
That was the best 4 minutes and 12 seconds of my life. The way the music transitioned alongside the art-I was anything but disappointed. Especially the ending, I loved it so much.
A home for flowers (as in all variants) has always been one of my favorite tracks simply because how in can convey despair and hope both separately and in tandem, and I feel like this does that really well. Great work 👍

Spoilers Imagine. Vivid fight scene between Basil and his trama demon with this music right before Sunny’s fight with Omori. Basil looks around, confused on who this Omori person is, when his trama demon starts fighting him at the pickup. Basil is losing easily, his only weapons being his grass cutter things or whatever he stabbed Sunny with. He gets beat up by the demon and at the part where it slows down a bit(1:37), Basil falls and it flashes back to when Mari falls down the stairs in slow mo, and Mari tells Basil that he must protect her brother, and then Basil falls back into the fight where it picks up(2:06) where he has gained momentum, thinking loudly, I MUST PROTECT MY FRIEND!! FOR SUNNY! FOR MARI!! FOR MY FRIENDS!! AND THE. EVERYTHING.. EVERYTHING,,, EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY!!! (2:56) and then the music slows down and Basil falls, Sunny shouting out his name. And then Basil says something like, I did it Mari. I’ll protect Sunny. I will make everything okay. Everything. Will be Okay… And then it leads on to Sunny VS Omori.
this remix makes me really sad. mostly cuz it sounds upbeat and reminds me of the nostalgia i got from when i first played this game, where i thought "wow this is really cute!" while playing on my brother's laptop at 4 in the morning, only to be hit with extreme depression by the time i finished. it sounds happy but really isn't and that captures the essence of this game perfectly.
I imagine this would’ve been called “higanbana version” if it was in game. Higanbana, or Red Spider Lilies represent the afterlife and the eternal separation of friends and family.
