Ohh that's a cool idea, and have the eyes look tired, yeah that can work. Regarding the boss fight, I still haven't started working on that, but I'll soon will. Thanks for your comment
Yo bro, The improvement on level design, objects, and the new Construction level look pretty good! I got some ideas: In the construction level, there can be a part where a wrecking ball shows up and you have to slide/ wait for it to go the opposite direction. Another thing: Try adding a Trick jump system on the enemy. What I mean by that is basically depending on how much enemy’s you stomp in a row, the character will do a unique animation most of the time, and depending on how much you do it, you’ll jump off the enemy higher, and will have a heart restored if you lost one. Sort of like the Super Mario Games. I know this is long, but I really hope some of my ideas come in handy!
I love the idea of the wrecking ball. Ah I see what you mean about the enemies in a row, that could work. Thanks for your ideas! It’s the right length btw😂, don’t worry about that
Fun fact some mickey Mouse cartoon ala mad doctor is in public domain. And use Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse as a inspiration by way.
I have 2 ideas. 1: Have a level based around fighting an animater ie it makes ink enemies and objects and at the end, you fight the pen as a mini boss. 2: have both the peats (oswalds and mickeys) work together in the final boss. Name idea, "double trouble" or "2 manys peats". Fight idea. Mickeys peat is trowning the animals from steamboat willie as Oswald's peat is trying to hit you by running at you. You could stun the peat chasing you by jumping on his head. The goal is to get Mickey's peat to hit Oswald's peat with the animals.
Actually I will do the first idea for the construction level, there will be a pencil boss that creates enemies 😄. The second idea sounds good but it’s the same Pete actually. Thanks for your input
I may have missed this but What's The Final Level Count? 5-9 Stages? How Many Bosses? 4? Just Pete as the Overarching Antagonist? Just for basic planning game structure and what does the 'End Game' and 'Finished Game' look like to have an End Goal in the Development? Do you limit Untold Caper's Content to just the 1927-1928 Oswald and (literally just 3) Mickey Cartoons? Or if this Development time Bleeds into 2025 do you include 1929 Content or leave that for a Sequel if Untold Capers does well to keep the Game clearly defined?
Hey! I appreciate your curiosity. There are things I don’t want to say because it will spoil the game. But there will be a total of 6 different locations, and each will have two or three levels, and each level will have a sub-boss and on the last, a Boss, which in most cases will be Pete. I did talked a little bit at the end of the devlog 4 if you want to check it out. And yeah, I’m focusing on Oswald from 1927-28 - and Mickey just a few episodes. But each level doesn’t represent an episode, some have references from them. And I came up with the full story of course, which is based on my interpretation of the episodes and of their real life story
Idea : when you stand on the flying brick. the flying brick will be tired. Also when will be the boss fight?

This entire Game is just getting better and better through its development. Can’t wait until the full game drops 👏
Thanks!

@@xanderdevelops Awesome man. Good luck
It would be cool if the bricks on the ground looked at the direction you’re in instead of just left
Yeah I thought that, that’s a good idea. Ty
can there be a brick enemy that would be a enemy made out of bricks that might spit bricks at you and when you you jump on it's head, it crumbles.
Oh I really like that idea!
