Perhaps you can add colored switches like the ones seen in the Mario Vs Donkey Kong games to activate mechanisms. Another use for Oswald’s boomerang or for his jump
I have one idea for the game. I think it would be easier for me to illustrate it but I guess I’ll explain it with my own words. Give both Oswald and Mickey a special or a rush move which obviously should have a cool down so it doesn’t get overused. When the bar fills up depending on how much of your enemies you take out press a key that activates it and for Oswald a trolley spawns (that isn’t necessarily the exact size in the tutorial) in the game automatically moves fast up front (not too extremely fast like sonic lmao) and for Mickey it can be like a mini steamboat that spawns with water magically spawning underneath and pretty much does the same thing. I know it might sound stupid on a TH-cam comment but maybe I can show it better with an illustration. I’ll probably send one in the discord server when I start drawing.
I’d suggest plane crazy as mickeys tutorial level, since even though steamboat Willie was released first, it was the first the first mickey cartoon made.

@@xanderdevelops I see I thought his move set might be different because his ears wouldn’t work very well as a boomerang. It’s nice keeping the moves similar tho so people don’t have to get used to a new character.
It's a different 1920s World War 1 Cartoon but I just got off from watching the Felix Cat V.S. The Mouse Rebellion (Felix Turns the Tide? Felix Saves the Day?) Where he leads a bunch of Hot Dogs to stop the Mouse V.S Cats war. So there's that cartoon unrelated to Oswald's War that he fights in....or maybe its 'Prequel Lore?' I dunno
For the platforms, when you jump on them, they could blink/ close their eyes for a 1-2 frames. And then it loops each time you do it. As for the Tutorial, maybe for the trolley you could have a part of the level that once you tell all the tips, you can add a good small platform challenge with those trolleys.

with the boomerang attack maybe he should throw his leg like in epic mickey 2 instead of his ear
