Huh, I never thought about differentiating overall/official times with PB/PR, but that system actually makes a lot more sense. I'd totally want to switch over, as long as people actually understand the difference.

Definitely a very helpful diagram, I usually get confused when hearing about these different sets of LL algs but with the diagram it makes so much more sense.

How to solve Parity:
1. Throw cube away
2. Buy new one
3. Repeat
Only one problem, the timers gonna time out because of shipping time.
I use this parity alg,my PB is 2 days
The one issue I see is how at comps people will sometimes yell "PB" if they get a OPB/PR but if someone yelled "PR" people could very easily hear it as "CR" or something and flock over to this random kid who got a 4 on 2x2

I remember struggling for sub 50 but now i average 16 on 3x3. And i have been cubing since April 2018. I cant wait to continue improving because of you. Btw, i love my spook ghost cube shirt. Very creative on the eyes. Good job.

That CO/EO/CP/EP diagram made me wonder: what if we did CLL and ELL instead of OLL and PLL? Then we could transfer our CLL algorithms over to 2x2
I use a different parity alg. I think that I learned it from Noah Richardson's "How to Solve a 4x4" tutorial, and I've been using it ever since

I learned that one from SergsB in his tutorial of the easiest way to memorize the parity algorithm. After playing around with it a bit, I realized that if you swap out the lowercase letters with wide moves (example: r -> Rw), the algorithm turns from just orienting the edge to Lucas Parity. Another thing I figured out is that if you’re doing parity before the start of 3x3x3 stage, you don’t have to do the last F2, because that is a 3x3x3 move and just modifies the scramble.

An abbreviation is the shortening of a word or phrase. An initialism, such as OH or F2L, is when you say each letter separately, whereas an acronym, such as NATO, is where the initials are said as a word.

7:42 J Perm's definition of acronym is not actually correct. Whereas CFOP is an acronym because you pronounce it as a word, OH, F2L and ZBLL are initialisms, because you pronounce each individual letter

On the CO/CP/EO/EP chart what is MBLL? Like what does it stand for and what does it do? I can’t find any information about it anywhere.
You can see it is like a cousin to 1LLL but their difference is MBLL is not in the CO area.
That means all the cases of MBLL are going to do: EO, CP and EP, but not CO. Which means MBLL is kinda like a set up to purely flipped LL corners.
Just imagine it as EO and PLL combined.
