Seriously I can't believe folks can't understand the accent it's simpy god given, I think he knew what he was doing when he gave Ireland the beauty it has, the accent is a bonus for you guys it's just the best in the world hands down mate, what part are you from? Thankyou so much. My scooter was making a rattly/squeaky noise straight after My girls baby brother pulled out the wire that connects to the wheel motor(not fully pulled the keys from the mother board but the little rubber plugs that keep the wires in the scooter came out so he pulled it a fair bit. I thought something was loose or something was wrong due to the noise. But nah. Some dw40 on the bearings and no more noise🥹❤️
WD40 original ain’t the best. Get the lithium grease spray ⚡️

I did the same thing with white lithium on my Varla(didn’t know about excessive coverage dangers and needing to wipe it off with cloth), but I still get that nasty metallic noise(kinda like when your brake pads are fucked on the car) when I take off on my Varla(only when I accelerate, it don’t make that noise when I brake and go to stop). Like it begs for some WD-40, I’m just concern with safety as if I would put it somewhere I’m not supposed to. Any tips? 🤔 Also, would really appreciate “oiling” guide, as to which solvents to use where for maintenance and how often to do it👍
I will do! Are you sure your brake discs might are not dirty? They may need a clean. Disc cleaner is the best. Gets off all the contaminants ⚡️
@@Movelectrics aren’t you supposed to keep shot greased? I just put on off road tires, so I did a full clean up and figured the noise is due to brake rotor disk being slightly bent and touching brake pad in certain spot. When I was changing, one of the screws on brake rotor got stripped, so I had to cut it out with grinder to finish tire replacement. It is still viable, but looks ugly. You know where I can get just the brake rotor disks without whole brakes package? I’d appreciate your knowledge.
The bearings will start to have a squealing noise. That’s when you grease them. The discs are 145mm size. You can buy them on Aliexpress easily or Amazon. If you ever strip the screws again, use a T27 torx bit 🛴
Do you have a video showing what type of noise the bearing produce. I have like a rattling noise that comes from the motor. I have a hunch it's the bearing but can be sure.

For some reason the eagle one is my only scooter that needs this to be done, the bearning squeals whenever I travel for longer than 15km
I use lithium grease spray. Clean them before though.
every time i press the throttle the rotor keep stopping it but when i rotate the wheel back ward and start work and suddenly stop probably the throttle

Any scooter. There are different methods people use but I did this for a long time and had no issues.
My front wheel is making a clicking noise sounds like it’s coming from inside bearings it’s started doing it at high speed and now won’t stop has this happened to you
Never happened to me but bearings can get damaged. Is there movement when the wheel is off the ground? I’m assuming you’re absolutely sure that it ain’t your disks rubbing?
i have a 60v 2000w evo scooter its chaindrive while riding i hear a loud banging noises thats contant and annoying could this be the bearings need to bea greased>?
Check everything is tight. What mileage is on it? Is there movement back a forth while from the bearings while off the ground?
@@Movelectrics ill give it all a check n let you know thanks..its an old chaindrive evo so no milage or dash lol its about 2yrs old been used well.. anytime i hit small bumps in the road it makes a really loud banging,clunking sound also while riding i can hear a grittylight grinding weird noise coming from the rear wheel area

I do at every few 100km/s
It’s nothing to worry about really. Sometimes you will hear them squealing, that’s when I do it ⚡️

WD40 you don’t use. Lithium grease I found is best. No, the motor does not get damaged. You just spray it on the bearings that’s all.
How can remove the bearings ,i need new ones but i cant get the old ones out and im scared to damage the wheel.
You have the Varla? If you ain’t confident, bring it to a scooter shop.

If it’s just from riding in rain. It’ll go away. If it’s new definitely not. If there’s ply when if the ground, then good be the bearings
@@Movelectrics Thanks for the reply! Also I applied the WD40 to my brakes accidently and also applied it to the bearings infront and now it sounds noisy, and ive went to a repair shop and he said that it'll go away when driving overtime. Is that true? Love how u reponddd that fast btw ❤️

WD40 on brakes??? No way! 100% brake disc only cleaner.

@@HikeTure put the lithium grease on the bearings but the WD40 you accidentally sprayed onto the discs are dangerous. Plus the pads now are also covered with it.
If it was me, I’d replace the pads and discs.

There was no noise. Just a video to show how to maintain them. Noise is a grinding sound or bad squealing sound.
There is literally 0 tutorials on how to completely replace the baearings on a Zero 10. Repeat, a Zero 10! Not 10X. And yes, mine completely broke off, and i dont know what size to get or how to change them.
There are no scooter places near me and all bike places don't even look at scooters, even of its a universal issue.
I can't see how you are greasing the bearings when they all have plastic covers that need removing first and are usually hidden behind the metal motor covers!!!! You need to remove the wheel and split the motor to access the bearings. Also if they are noisy they are beyond greasing and need replacing....! Sure you might get something in there, as the plastic covers are dust covers and not water resistant... but generally you need to open the motor, remove the bearing cover and wipe bearing grease in there.
These berings are sealed like on most scooters. You cannot take off the cover, grease the ball bearings and reapply. They are done from factory. This method works well I found in most cases after hard riding particularly in wet conditions overtime. The spray is very good and gets well in there. For bearings that are damaged internally, replacing of course is needed. In this case, no.

@@user-mn2zs2tb3c I use lithium grease for bearings, not oil. The rubber caps to avoid losing them is to use double sided sticky tape. Thank you for the support!

@@Movelectrics The each of those bearings has a little plastic clip cover that pops out with a pen knife if you want to add more grease - but you have to actually get to the bearing to do this!
If your bearings make noise you should definitely go check the bearings and not just spray it with a can of oil. I even doubt that the can can penetrate the seal or even well enough to lubricate the bearing properly. If you value your life than do it the proper way and replace them or check them out.
I’ve had many scooters/e-bikes and after a good few hundred KMs I would clean and maintain them with spray. Never once had an issue.
Slight squealing noises is the most common due to riding in bad weather for example. Needs lithium grease applied again.
Clean with a cotton bud/cloth, then spray and spin. Yes, the spray does penetrate internally for the outer rim.
Internals are sealed from factory where the balls are located.
If you have a knocking noise or the wheel is really bad out if alignment, then it is time to check fully.
Basic maintenance.
@@Movelectrics I'm just saying that these parts are so essential that I don't find it worth my life by just spraying some grease into the bearrings in the hope they are lubricated well enough. There is a possibility that the bearing is damaged and you just made the bearing sound dissapear by greasing it
@@Timo-Epis you can tell a damaged bearing with it having play/knocking or a very bad rubbing sound. Or the wheel not spinning freely (I done video on replacing bearings that had this exact problem)
Remember, these bearings are constantly exposed to the elements, dirt, wet etc.
That’s why weekly checkups and maintenance can spot potential issues before they get worse.

Bad weather can cause corrosion. Definitely a god idea to clean them and maintain regularly ⚡️
