    I like the fact that you used the existing wire for the repair and not a brand new one . Zero waste.

    Nice video. Usually i don't much like non- verbal instructional videos but you do such a great job with the camera angles clearly showing the viewer what you're doing that it works just fine. As a bonus, you don't have any of the cringe-inducing music that most people usually overlay on top of the video. Gold star for you, bucko!

    How do you take the motor out from the tyre? It doesn’t show in this video, and just skips right through it.
    Anyone know how?

    Man this is absolutely brilliant I had the exact same issue with my Apollo light motor after going over a curb and grazing the wires to the point with our exposed so I kept getting an e error but just like you I had the exact same idea to rethread the wires through the only difference was I was going to do something stupid and try and connect all otherwise together rather than desoldering the wise and then threading it through and re-soldering a new loom if you have any other advice or ran into any other small problems I would love any advice please ALSO DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO REPLACE THE MOTOR WITH A MORE POWERFUL ONE OR WOULD THE BATTERY NOT BE POWERFUL ENOUGH

    Great video, I should try this tomorrow. Rear motor
    showing an error, Contacted Kukirin 3 weeks ago & still waiting to find out what's happening with the new motor, been advised used not to rush them .. Its still under warranty but ill probably be waiting months again missing out on summer with dual motors. Motor isn't working so might as well try .

    One tip for the Motor Hub cover. Before putting it back seal it with some Cylinder Gasket Glue (silicone) to prevent water from entering there to corrode stator core.

    Nice bearings but they've only got a dust seal. Go back to the rubber seals to keep more water out.

  • @spacefightertzz
    @spacefightertzz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great video! I'll need to do this someday on my wheel. There are some bear copper spots on all the main wires and some of the hall sensor wires right at that same area in this video.
    On my other scooter, I am having trouble getting the plate off to look at the hall sensor wiring. I am getting an e-001 error code on my tf-100 display. It was easy to get the plate off my currently running scooter. But this other one is hard and I was worried about the plate breaking since I already chipped a tiny piece already during attempts.

    I have a similar hub motor and I have to replace the 3 hall sensors because 2 wires of them are cut!! I was wondering what is that white paste that you remove in the begging and is also located on the top between the 3 sensors and the chip. I am thinking to put a glue or something like a glue to avoid the movement of the chip and the sensors also and avoid of cutting the wires of the sensors again. Please help me!

    If you clean the magnets and polish them, it will give you added power and performance! 👍

    Never grind the stacks of laminations in the stator - this can result in a significantly higher operating temperature and lower motor efficiency due to the increased fault current between the individual laminations. As a reason, look for the disadvantages of transformers with welded transformer sheets.
