Omg, great brew day and beer review! Loved the thoughts (especially the blah blah blah, lol) you had on how you might try improving the beer with different ingredients.
Sounds like a plan. I'm not sold on mash hopping yet (have only done it twice), but haven't really run any comparisons yet, so it's not yet off the table. Cheers!
@@PartyTimeBrewing looking back at my recipe I say up the aroma by moving hops later in the boil. I had 3oz of Cascade at 20, 2oz Galaxy whirlpool, and 2oz Galaxy dry hop.
Looked nice, and I scored some Hop Head yeast a little while back but haven't brewed with it. What do you think about the yeast? Also, the BIAB looked like a pair of ball sacks, just saying...Like it was an Easter Egg in the video to make you laugh. Great job!
Nice video- it’s great learnings. Dude, did you brew in that 9L keg? Must have been under pressure. I’ve brewed in a corny but I’d like to see more about what you did here. I’m thinking about buying a KL 9L. Thank you.
I did brew in it. They clean super easy and I used the sounding valve, only 5 psi or so though. Within the next 2 or 3 weeks I'll do a vid on these kegs, they're worth it for sure at 10ish or 30 with the posts and pressure valve. Cheers!
It's great to see brewing mistakes. We learn more from them vs the Martha Stewart brewers. 🍻
For sure! Nothing to hide here. Cheers!
Galaxy, Cascade and Citra! Recipe for success.
Might have to try it again tonight!

It turned out pretty good. But sadly, I am just about to kick the keg... Cheers!
Love seeing you trying out a recipe and finding ways to improve. But maybe adding uncrushed grains could be the secret sauce to success? haha
Not a bad idea. No crush DIPA, ten times the grain, same times the taste!
My DIPA's usually consist of 5 kg pilsner, 2 kg oats and roughly 600gr of hops for a 22 liter batch.
Nice, I'm in the process of refining the recipe now and hopefully will re-do it tomorrow or Friday. Cheers!
I’ve definitely also added uncrushed grain to a mash 😂 another great video and like the lessons learned
i'm thinking it's time for me to make a checklist! (Although I'm hoping the uncrushed grain is a one off...). Cheers!
Enjoyable video, you can't beat David Heaths videos and info really can you..........i've just subscribed to you :)
Thanks for the sub! David Heath is definitely my go to when it comes to recipe development! Cheers!
LOOKS like a great beer just need to get more hop profile it sounds like
It needs something! I'll try that out. Cheers!
Braj, keep making the great content 🍻
I'll do it! Hopefully. Cheers!
Big fan of David Heath - I use his recipes for starting off points along with a few others. Cheers!
He knows his stuff! Cheers Matt!
Sounds punchy and moderately delicious! Looking forward to test driving it!
It works for sure! See ya Saturday!
You might try mash hopping on the next one and see what you think. Thanks for sharing!

Cascade and Galaxy was the hop combo in my first beer that made me go "Damn! I'd pay money for that at a brewery."
It definitely has potential. I either need to up the aroma or add a bit of malt to balance the bitterness. Cheers!

Great video 👍
Thanks a lot! Cheers!
we need more vids!
Yes we do! And quicker responses to comments... Cheers!
Did you dry hop at all?
magnum can really go in anytime before the boil.
I think the colour was very nice.
Of course, just need to get better at covering everything in the video.... About 4.3g/litre. I'll up it next time!
Your lackluster delivery is getting me enthused for another brew-ish day. More vids
There will be more vids to come! Featuring more lackluster delivery! Cheers!
When are you going to brew with the hops from your backyard?
This year the crop was garbage. I think they're in too much shade, so I may be doing a total redo move in the summer. Cheers!

Brew-In-A-Ballsack! I like the hophead yeast. Seems to work well. Cheers!

@@PartyTimeBrewing I haven’t pulled the trigger yet but I’m convinced that I need one. 👍
May not have turned out how you wanted but the next one will!
For sure, still easily drinkable but not what I was looking for. Cheers!
Citra! All the way!!!!
But I'm running low... Fine. Citra it is! Cheers!
Shit happens Man. Next time you'll nail it.
I've tried the recipe out a few times since, and I really like the base, just need to get the hops down. Cheers!
@PartyTimeBrewing ever tried dip hopping? Last time I did it was wonderful!
Like for the "Hii, haa, hih huhh"
Those are so important when brewing! Cheers!
