Very good! For those not familiar with the stuff he's using "shrink tubing" over the soldered joints. You apply heat, he used a lighter, it shrinks around the soldered joint. A day! Impressive!
Wow you are a beast doing that swap in one day and it came out to the tee wow I have the 323is 1999 in mint condition and I just bought the manual transmission and the kit to swap mines , I’m amazed the way you did that . I’m about to start doing mines in a few weeks and I’ll be watching your video to guide me through it, Question ; is it as easy as it looked on your video if I go step by step following you ? Be honest because I love my car and I want it to come out like I bought it like that perfect 👌🏼 but again I have much respect on your work my brother take care and I hope to hear from you
How did you get no check engine lights ? Did you delete ews or did you have to reprogram the ecu to essentially be a manual ecu, can you use romraider to reflash it to be a manual ecu ?!
Yes but will need the corresponding front half of the driveshaft to make it work. Both obd1 and obd2 engines have the same transmission bellhousing shape so it will bolt up with no issues.

For the transmission oil cooler , can I just remove it and it’ll all be good? Starting the swap this saturday

i believe it would cause a transmisson light but he removed the bulb from the dash so that he wouldn't have the light anymore
