Oh, welcome back, Eduardo. It's lovely to see you. I missed you. What a wonderful restoration, you brought it back to life. I felt like I was in your studio with you. The filming & editing were spot-on. Thank you, my friend.🤗
Thank you for the new post. I enjoy watching as you take meticulous steps to restore a painting. I love history and art and watching the painting go through the restoration process is fascinating and I am happy you can give it a new lease on life.
Hello!! It's great to see you working, again. This was a truly beautiful painting, and your work returned it to its full splendor. Thank you for sharing the whole process with us, and telling us what you will choose to do differently next time. 👏👏👏👏 Aside from the work process, in this video I really liked watching your brushwork. Whether you were applying gelatine, wax, soap, varnish, or retouching paint, each time you had a brush in your hands your movements were very graceful. It was lovely to see, in the same way as watching someone dancing is lovely to see.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you enjoyed the process and appreciated the details like the brushwork. Your comparison to dancing is such a beautiful compliment! 😊🎨
First time on this channel, i enjoyed a lot, it was a great work!! I don't know if it might help, you commented about the brushes and you can find nail art brushes that are EXTREMELY thin, you might find them with good quality, and (from my experience) is easier to find than looking for ultra thin "regular" brushes
Thank you for sharing your work with us! Would you be so kind and let us know the exact varnishes (resins) you use for both retouching and final varnishes? Thanks!
Using washi kozo paper is the first step to protecting this painting, but using bees wax in the 'stabilization' foundation sounds counter-productive to me! At some time in many years to come, when this painting comes back up for cleaning and possible restoration work, how on this Earth will that bees wax-resin backing be removed from the painting, if it's been melted and then ironed into the original canvas?!
Please remember to “like” and leave a comment (no matter how short) as it really helps promote the channel - I appreciate your support! Eduardo
Such patience, such attention to detail, you deserve the most respect. Thank you for your work. The painting is amazing now. 👌
Thank you very much
The relining of the canvas was simply a beautiful technique. I hadn't seen the application of the wax mixture until now. 🥰
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the relining technique. The wax mixture is a great method-happy to share it with you! 😊

I like that you show. That is not so much about or not all about the front of the painting but a lot goes into the frame and the back of the painting😊

Oh excited for this one! Hope you are doing well! Stunning colors! Love how it popped after the restoration! Job well done!
I am glad you enjoyed the video and the colors on it, I am doing well, and I hope you are, too. 😊
@@Figueiredoartconservation I am great. Not making videos at the moment, but blogs, and thinking of painting again, just for fun :)
@@TheKeystoneChannel That is great, It's nice you are thinking of painting again
Škoda, že jsme neviděli některé části procesu. Těším se na další pěkné video.
O senhor Figueiredo! It's nice to have you back! And a 40 min video too. You spoil us!
Good works & humble about it
Unlike the other conservationist who thinks his way and method is the only way
Good Job Boos

Please, for that question contact me via email.
Bee's wax and resin, no hot table treatments, Baumgartners are losing their minds right now
@@brentdallyn8459 lol.....yup.

The top left corner could be better.
I like how you say what you are doing and then work quietly. The other guy talks constantly.
