    Boris succesfully drummed out all the conservative MPs who still had a moral compass. All that are left are bad apples.

    The Gambling Commission need to investigate all partners and spouses of Tory MPs. It’s strange that some Tory MPs and their staff, supporters and partners were seen to be canvassing before the election was even called, so they most obviously had prior knowledge of the date and could easily have placed bets!

      For all of you complaining about your corruption in the UK, the USA Supreme Court just ruled that 40-years of laws against officials accepting money & gifts AFTER awarding lucrative contracts are now ILLEGAL. That means if any Tory moves to the USA it is now perfectly legal for a UK company to give them £100,000 as a thank-you for giving them a £10,00,000 PPE contract. Don’t you just love crony capitalism?

    Major point against the Times argument - didn't Sunak know about this *before* the deadline for candidates? Therefore had he acted immediately, he could have replaced the ones under investigation with other candidates. At this point, there don't even seem to be a few good apples left.

    Sunak needs to read the Prince. He keeps making the same mistake over and over again. When there is a crisis he tries to pick the middle ground. This is a mechanical fault - always pick a side and stick to it. If you don’t pick a side then both sides despise you. If you pick a side only one does.
    It’s basic stuff, he just isn’t up to the job.

    Has Sunak been asked and answered definitively when he first heard that his private aide had placed a bet on the date of the election? I have seen suggestions that was BEFORE the closing date for nominations of candidates in the elections. If so, then Sunak is as guilty as Johnson ever was of his most despicable behaviour: doing nothing to reprimand colleagues when their corrupt or unsavory conduct comes to light and hoping it will all blow over if he can just brazen it out for long enough.

    • @alana8863
      @alana8863 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Oh please, stop this nonsense. Get some help.
      WEF does some good things and some bad. But when a boy cries wolf over and over again - by demonising WEF in a mindless way - then people ignore criticisms because they hear them all the time from you. So you allow WEF to get away with the bad things.
      Deal with your feelings of isolation and your need to justify your 'outsider' views by some other means. Demonising something by crying wolf all day long isn't going to help you - or anyone else.
      Then look at WEF objectively, and when it does something good, point this out. When you feel it's out of order, make justifiable criticisms.
      Crying wolf all the time just encourages people to overlook the negative stuff from WEF because they hear this all the time from people who display no critical faculties.
