- This biography video presents the life story of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin / V. I. Lenin ( ভ্লাদিমির / ভি আই লেনিন জীবনী / জীবন কাহিনী) in Bengali. Vladimir Lenin was a Russian communist leader ( কমিউনিস্ট মহাবিপ্লবী ভি আই লেনিন ), a legendary politician and a great political theorist.
He was born on 22 April , 1870. His parents were Ilya Ulyanov and Maria Alexandrovna Ulyanova, Lenin embraced revolutionary socialist politics following his brother's 1887 execution. Expelled from Kazan Imperial University for participating in protests against the Russian Empire's Tsarist government, he devoted the following years to a law degree. After his expulsion, Lenin immersed himself in radical political literature, including the writings of German philosopher and socialist Karl Marx, author of Das Kapital.
In 1889, Lenin declared himself a Marxist. He later finished college and received a law degree. Lenin practiced law briefly in St. Petersburg in the mid-1890s.
He soon was arrested for engaging in Marxist activities and exiled to Siberia. Lenin later moved to Germany and then Switzerland, where he met other European Marxists. During this time, he adopted the pseudonym Lenin and established the Bolshevik Party.
During first World War, during this time that he wrote and published Imperialism, The Highest Stage of Capitalism (1916) in which he argued that war was the natural result of international capitalism.
When Lenin returned home to Russia in April 1917, the Russian Revolution was already beginning. Strikes over food shortages in March had forced the abdication of the inept Czar Nicholas II, ending centuries of imperial rule.
After Russian Revolution in 1917( রুশ বিপ্লব ১৯১৭), he served as the Head of the Government of Soviet Russia and Soviet Union from 1917 to 1924. He was ideologically a Marxist, but he developed his own political theory known as Leninism. He passed on 21 January, 1924.
