সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ বসু আমার কাছে বিজ্ঞানের ভগবান।আমি প্রত্যেকটা বিজ্ঞানী কে সম্মান করি কিন্তু সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ বসুকে যেন একটু বেশি সম্মান করতে ইচ্ছা। এনাকে আইনস্টাইনের মতো জিনিয়াস বললেই বিন্দুমাত্র ভুল হবেনা। প্রকৃত অর্থে সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ বসু হলো একজন জিনিয়াস। যিনি পুরো বিশ্বের কাছে বাংলার সম্মানকে এক চূড়ান্ত জায়গায় পৌঁছে নিয়ে গেছেন।অথচ দুর্ভাগ্যবশত এই বাঙালি বিজ্ঞানী তার উপযুক্ত সম্মান পায় নি। কাছে বিনীত নিবেদন করব এনার স্মৃতির উদ্দেশ্যে এমন কোন কিছু বানানো হোক যা পুরো বিশ্ববাসীকে চমকে।
উপযুক্ত সুযোগ ও প্রচারের অভাবে আইনস্টাইন কিংবা মাদাম কুরির মতন আচার্য সত্যেন্দ্রনাথ বসু সমাদর পাননি জনসমুহে। তবে বাঙালির হৃদয়ে তিনি হয়ে থাকবেন চির অমর এবং মূল্যবান রত্ন। পরিশেষে বলতে চাই তিনি নোবেল প্রাইজও deserve করতেন।
